Perfect answers to cure my curiosity. When I sight in its always from a sled and I never measure the grouping. All my shooting is for hunting so as long as the grouping of shots are close I call it good.

Curiosity, When you guys mention 1 or 1.5 MOA is that free hand just resting on a table or is that in a lead sled?

Lots of good info in here already. Call the assessors office and have a chat with them. 99% are out to help you not screw you over and they will be the best starting point. Things vary so much from town to town it’s hard to say exactly what they will allow. Same for the building department regarding permits. They are public servants and 99% are out to help you and get you pointed in the right direction. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That seems like such a waste. They should change the program to have the meat donated to a local soup kitchen somehow if they don’t want the hunter to keep the meat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Was just up at Long Lake Thursday thru Monday. Those little bastards where a nightmare setting up Thursday and hiking Friday. After that they where almost non existent. Learned a good lesson. Do not pack the bug spray and thermocell in the pop up camper where you can’t get to them immediately. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm with ya. I'll avoid them if possible but if i'm in traffic they have to avoid me because i'm not moving one way or another.

Have him kidnapped by professionals so he’s never found again. It won’t matter to you because you won’t see him after the wedding anyways. But at least this way he’s got a shot at being happy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Crotch Rocket - I really hate that term. I don’t know why just do. I ride an older “crotch rocket” (shudder) a 95 I bought in the early 2000’s. Never did anything stupid on it. Just like every group of people the bad ones stick out more than the good ones. Just today coming home from the Adirondacks going through Old Forge I had a sport bike behind me about 10 cars back. I watched as he slowly picked his way though traffic only passing in a passing zone and never passed more than one car at a time. I left plenty of room between me and the car in front for me for him to fit in. After he made that move he had 2 cars until freedom. Me personally I would have passed them both in the long straight all in one shot but nope he picked them off one by one ever so slowly. Ends up we both turn into the same gas station in Rome NY just before the 90. He was in no hurry just minding his own business and following the traffic laws. Not much of a story to tell so only you guys will hear of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
