I have the Cannon T5 and If I remember right I got it for right around $300. I use it for exactly what your wife will be using it for. Pictures of the family, vacations and the kids playing around in the yard. I find it very simple to use and it takes amazing pictures without having to get into all the manual settings. All of the auto settings have always worked for everything I need. I'm adding a zoom lens to it this year. I have probably taken over 3,000 pictures with it so far and not a single complaint. I hope this helps

Is that even legal? assuming your talking about leaving a handgun in your truck. I'm being honest here as I don't know the correct answer. I was under the thought of your handgun has to either be carried on you or at home.

Got mine just a couple months ago took 11 months total. My friend who submitted 1 month after me has not heard anything at all and he is now at a year. I've heard and have done warm water for the first filling. Its suppose to help the tree suck up more water as the sap does not clog it all up. No idea if its true or not. Our tree always lasts from the 1st weekend in December thru the new year without dropping needles like crazy.

I've had many deer within 50 yards while the umbrella was up and it was raining. It doesn't seem to bother them at all. I even managed to shoot a few.
