  1. Great looking buck. Good luck getting after him!
  2. Too funny Red glad to have you back though!
  3. I’ve moved onto the lawn chairs in the driveway watching the venison roasts in the smoker with a beer in hand. Sometimes life if so difficult
  4. Back on the couch and not the stand. Today’s another family day. Was suppose to hunt the morning then go pumpkin picking with some friends in the afternoon but the weather had us switch the pumpkins picking to the morning instead.
  5. Gonna call it a day. Didn’t see anything but it was a pleasant day in the woods
  6. I think someone forgot to open the deer pen again.
  7. Radio tuned into static always did the trick for us.
  8. I feel ya there. I’ve had spine and hip problems since I was 20. Currently in pain because my hip decided I’ve been to healthy for too long. Been at least 3 weeks now.
  9. Up in the stand for the first time since opening day. 56 degrees zero wind. Just gonna hunt the morning then head off to a birthday party. Good luck everyone.
  10. Been mowing at least once a week all summer. Just mowed part of the lawn on Tuesday and will have to finish the rest of the lawn this weekend. I'm hoping this will be it but I doubt it.
  11. I saw a real nice 8 pointer this morning about 7:45am... While I was driving... In Williamsville.... While it was in the back of a hunters truck... Congrats to whoever you are!!! Lol
  12. I love sleeping in my gun stand. its an old school homemade stand so its about 3 feet by 4 feet. If i fall out of my chair i'm not going far. Some of my best naps have come in that stand. I don't even care if I miss a deer because i'm sleeping. With 2 kids at home I don't get naps and don't get to sleep in ever. Ladder stands are a little harder to sleep in. I get tired but i'm not as comfortable with the idea of falling asleep and falling out. I do have a safety harness on but I really don't want to test it out.
  13. First time there for the trolly ride. It was pretty cool feeding the animals. Unfortunatly Paul wasn’t there. He started his vacation today. I was hoping to hook up with him. I haven’t talked to him I probably 2 years. We where there as a company function for my wife’s work so the food was just dogs and burgs. Nothing cool. It was still good though.
  14. Live from the kitchen table. Unseasonably warm inside with temperatures reading 77 degrees. Current situation is yelling at 2 girls that have spent way to much time together so far this weekend and are no longer getting along. Today is filled with family stuff. First up is Hidden Valley Animal Adventure then my nieces bday party with girl scouts thrown in the middle of the party. I hope I survive the day!
  15. Currently 68 degrees inside with one child on my right the other child still sleeping and my dog curled up next to me on the couch. Scooby Doo is on the tv and I am in desperate need of coffee but am to lazy to get up and make it. Its a busy non hunting weekend for me which I consider a good thing because right now it’s warm and raining and if it weren’t for having something else to do I would be out there hunting in it.
  16. Welcome to the forum and to the wonderful world of hunting!
  17. Depending on time and date I'm in again
  18. I tried a chat from the Tapatalk app doubt it worked being on the iPhone. Ill try direct from the website now. And yes this site is amazing. I met up with TF last year because he had some clothes and boots that his girl grew out of and again he didn’t want anything for the items.
  19. Dude!!!!! I would love to take that off your hands. My girl would be thrilled
  20. Holy crap now I gotta go home and shoot at 5 yards to see what happens. I fairly new to this Bow thing and assumed 5 yards would be the same as 10 yards. Thanks for posting your mis adventure as I have learned something from it.
