  1. What a great job!! It looks amazing
  2. I was surprised to find one at $189 however that's still more than I want to spend. Maybe someday I will be in the position to go out and buy the best but that day is not today. So far i'm liking what i am hearing about the Halo.
  3. I got one as well. I think it was for $1.22 and I agree with growalot cash it even though its almost nothing. If no one cashes it within 90 days I think Verizon ends up keeping the money and satisfy's the court ruling.
  4. Trust me I get it, I've been there done that before but I tend to be cheap and never buy the best or even near the best of anything. I just try to make due with the less expensive versions.
  5. I might actually stop and get some tickets on the way home today. As far as what I would do if i win. I would quit my job for sure, pay some one else to fix up my house the way i want it instead of me doing all the work myself. Build a larger garage to fit a classic muscle car and a new super car maybe a new motorcycle and an ATV. Take my wife on vacations to the places she dreams of going to. I would hide our wealth from our kids as best as possible so they still try their hardest in school and life. I don't need to raise jerks that think they are better than everyone just because they have money but of course I would set up trust funds so in the end they wouldn't have anything to worry about. I'd make sure my family was taken care of. Maybe just help pay off their mortgages so they can have extra play money every month. After a while and I get bored of not working I would probably start flipping houses in the area. Do some of the work myself but hire out for most of the work then sell the house for just a little profit.
  6. Has anyone used the Halo brand range finders? Dick's has them on sale right now with a rebate but the reviews on them are mixed but most are bad due to the battery compartment door breaking not because of the actual function of the range finder. Could be a great deal or one of those you get what you pay for items.
  7. I believe a deer/thing can jump that high and that far no problem at all however the color from the deer/thing seem to be off making me think it's 2 very real photos put together to make this one photo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Ok NFA-ADK I followed the rules today. 25 yards so it's in between pins. Not a good shot at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I'm to lazy to walk 20 yards after the first shot only to walk back and take 3 more! Ha Ha. Maybe next time
  10. first 4 of night. last 4 of the night. 20 shots taken all from 20 yards. First shots taken all summer. I've left it sighted in for broad heads so I'm guesstimating a little low and a little right to find the bullseye. Today was more about technic than anything else. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Biz, not a bad price with those miles but it seems like your not in a hurry which means you can find a better price. Trucks just like that are all over the place. I wouldn't be surprised if you found something 3K cheaper for the same specs.
  12. Congrats Tughill!!!! May you have another 30+ happy years together!
  13. First picture sure i'd do it. I'd be scared but I would do it. Second picture depends on how much rock is there that you cant see. Now jumping off cliffs into the water!!!!! oh hell no!!!!
  14. Good for you guys!!! Long story short in my early 20's I weighed close to 240 when I was working in a kitchen. I got tired of being the fat guy so I started working out and eating right and dropped all the way down to 175. Then kids happened and I have slowly gained 15 pounds and now I hover right around 190. I'm ok with being 190 as I never want to be 200+ again but I would love to lose 10 pounds and hover back around 180. Everything was honestly better at 180 and working out compared top 190 and just staying there with out working out.
  15. Barney the Purple Dinosaur.... I love you, you love....... Ha Ha try getting that out of your head now!!! It all depends on what kind of mood I'm in as I listen to just about anything but the first ones to come to mind are Rage against the Machine, Rush, Eminem, Tool, Eric Church. If the kids are not in the truck the music is usually loud anyways.
  16. I was just thinking the same thing this morning after I let the dog out and she chased one away. Every morning and evening there seems to be a few in the yard. One of the golf courses I play has rabbits everywhere. I damn near run one over with the cart every time.
  17. Prayers for you, you're family and most importantly your daughter. I can't imagine going though this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I walked down with the kids while visiting my parents. Never remember it this high. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  20. Sorry for your loss, may your memories always be comforting.
  21. Ha ha fantastic and can totally picture it happening exactly that way!
  22. For me there is no one set event that got me into hunting. My father did not hunt at all so I was introduced to the outdoors by my Uncle and my best friends family growing up as they both belonged to the same gun club. Growing up once summer hit my friends and I would spend all day down at the creek fishing. we would often go there in the morning, come home for lunch and head right back until dinner time. It still amazes me how much time we spent fishing all those years. Mostly caught bluegill, sunfish, bass and catfish. A few times a year my Uncle would take me out somewhere for trout or my favorite as a youngin northern pike! I cant even recall when my first time hunting in the woods was. I'm pretty positive it was with my uncle hunting for small game which he never really did. When I was 16 I got a job as a dishwasher at the local country club where I met an avid small game hunter and we spent the next 5-6 years hunting everything that moved. Hunting wise that was the best time in my life. Now a days with a young family I only get out to deer hunt and maybe pheasant hunt once or twice a year. I'd love to get back into some of the small game hunting. Perhaps if my girls continue the interest in hunting they currently have I can take them out for small game.
