    Well I was up before the alarm went off excited to spend another day in the woods. Looks like the rains not going to stop until 11am or so. I spend the morning with the family then hit the woods with my daughter for the evening sit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Really bummed. Weather for this weekend is bad. Its just starting to rain now and will continue throughout the night. I’ll set an alarm and check the weather in the morning but it’s not looking good. The afternoon and Sunday only look slightly better. I don’t like the idea of bow hunting in a heavy rain.     I did pretty much the same thing that you did but it's 13' in the air. Search for "tajmahal" on the site and you can find pages of our homemade blinds. I have the buddy heater and the 20 pound tank as well. It lasted all season last year and it got used a lot.

    My employer should be VERY happy that my bow was not in the back of my truck this morning otherwise I would have made a right to go to my land instead of the left to go to work. I think I deserve a raise for todays act of selflessness.

    I would, guts are still lethal but it can take 12+ hours. If you can't follow their trail and it ends in a search look near water. They sometimes will lay in water to cool the burning sensation they are feeling.
