  2. @crappyice any must have places to go to on the places that you went to? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I’m not too familiar with cabin sites but this year we went to bowman lake state park. It had a nice beach and the sites where very private as far as State campgrounds go. They had some cabins spread throughout. Right now I’m sitting around a fire at Chapman State Park inside Alleghany Forrest on the PA side. The camp sites are close and pretty open but the beach was really nice and the facilities are super clean. I only saw one or two cabins as we where driving through. Lake Eaton in the Adirondacks was another favorite of mine. Plenty to do with the kids in the area. Not sure if they had cabins though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. A bunch of people on an F150 forum I’m on have sold to those places with no issues. I’d have to read through the thread again but one or two online companies where a bit slow on the entire process but in the end there where no issues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. Now you guys got me thinking and I'll have to mess with the numbers to see how much more I will have to contribute in order to retire at 59.
  8. Agreed, I wish I could retire earlier but unless you get into a good state or federal job it's incredibly difficult. Even the major corporations now don't have the same pensions as they once did. Getting into a retirement fund as soon as I started working was probably the only smart financial decision I have ever made in my life.
  9. Are you saying 65 is earlier or later than what you have in mind for yourself?
  10. My 401k is up 30% over the last 12 months and up 11.87% in 2021. I can retire at 65 and be fine according to the built in financial tracker.
  11. Ugh, so we are headed to PA to camp this weekend. I looked into a fishing license for myself but deemed it to be a bit much in the off chance the girls and I go fishing. I then looked into what age range the kids needed a license and stumbled upon the regulation that even an adult assisting a child fish needs a license. Needless to say the poles are staying home and I’m a bit disappointed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. Damn, what an upgrade Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. We have one and I love it. Power goes out and the generator kicks in 30 seconds later. My wife works from home so if the power goes out and she's home I guarantee no matter how many times I would have showed her she could never get a portable generator out of the garage and hooked up to the house and started. Basically if you can afford it and your not moving anytime soon it's worth it.
  17. First pic looks like me after thanksgiving dinner! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. See that's the kind of input I'm looking for. We seem to somehow be pretty busy as it is and neither my wife or I really want to spend every weekend at a ball diamond hours away from home. We also have an older daughter that won't want to spend hours away from home at a ball diamond watching her sister play softball.
  19. Question for y'all ... My daughter will be 8 in a month. She was in the 8U age bracket this year and did really well for herself considering this was her first year playing softball. My wife and I just kinda assumed she would stay in the 8U age bracket for next year as well but now her coach is talking to us and he suggested that she move up to 10U as an 8 year old AND play on the travel team. Good Idea? Bad Idea? Who Care's, let her play whatever? We asked for the information on the time commitment on the travel league as that will be a big factor in our decision. Of course our child will also get to decide if she wants to play in 2 different leagues as well.
  20. I saw a Tom fully fanned out over the weekend. I really thought it was an odd sight but I know nothing about turkeys. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Wow what a monster! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a brown that big!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. My wife is a travel agent I rarely know any details of any trip I take. We did a cruise a few years ago and the only thing I really knew about it was we had to fly to the west coast and it went south to Mexico. It was a great time!
  23. So your saying she’s not a champion……… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. If I remember right our hotel is on Church Street in Printers Alley so that's cool to hear that that area has more low-key bars. From what I know the bars on Broadway are exactly how you described it a NashVegas S%@$ show. I'm down for that for exactly one night then I want no part of it to be honest with you.
