You would acclimatize, and the heat becomes no big deal. I grew up here and lived in Florida for a while. It took less than a year to acclimatize, as I worked outside. It took 7 or 8 years after moving back North that I could take the cold like I used to.

Each new stand you buy has a harness and strap with it. I have collected a ton of the straps, and put them in each tree right before the season starts, then remove them at the end. I carry an extra one in my backpack as well.

Big 6 my buddy shot in West Bloomfield a few years ago.

I use it in my deer rifle. Havent had any issues with it yet. Nice and accurate and I have yet to need any follow up shots. I use the 150 grain in .308

Hes gonna have lots of private ground to hunt for the weekend hes here. If he has time and really wants to burn that 8N tag, I have a couple of spots there too.

Thats the most convoluted way to adjust a site Ive ever heard of. I wish I knew what brand it was so I can avoid it at all costs.

In May and the last couple of weeks actually .20 inch within the last 12 hours. I want to stop down and check some plots tonight but Im figuring they should be doing really good at this point.

But you still have to follow the state game laws, which means you arent supposed to hunt until 12 years old. You just dont need to purchase a license.

I usually have a handful of bucks between the farms that Ill hold out for the last few years. Im trying to hold out for a 3 year old or better at this point. I kill my fair share of does to fill the freezer though.

I agree that its a dumb law, but it is what it is and posting pictures on the internet for anyone and everyone to see is a risk. Just making you aware. Did you also say she hunts squirrels as well?

Its getting better, as weve been getting rain more frequently the last couple of weeks, but we are way down still. I love my Muddy Outfitter stands. $160, plenty big, very comfy and they adjust to a certain amount of tree lean. Worth every penny.

Ive mowed 3 or 4 times all summer. Once was just knocking down some weeds that were popping up. Maybe Ill mow this week.

Not uncommon at all. Deer hunters do it all the time. Im not going to run into the thick brush after a bear I just shot. Give it time to die without taking the risk of pushing it further or having it attack you.

I dont know if you watched the video, but there wasnt much celebration going on in it. Pretty tame compared to alot of the guys whooping it up and dancing in their tree stands after shooting a big buck. Just because someone hunts differently than you do, doesnt mean you should shun them, as long as its legal. Keep bowing down to the antis and see where it gets you.
