  1. good 2 year old or average 3 year old. Hard to tell with that pic.
  2. It was a good turn out. He isnt looking at an 8 footer, probably a 6 or 7. We will most likely only do the large plots with the tiller every other year or maybe every 3rd year, and use the disc in between. The small plots are quick to do with the tiller once they have been worked for a couple of years.
  3. Its the pinion nut. Shouldnt break anything taking it off, Ive rebuilt more than one differential over the years.
  4. Happened to my 89 Celebrity with the 2.8 in it too. Garbage.
  5. The nut is there, they forgot to put some loc-tite on it basically. Ford had a similar recall for the same thing. I have no idea why Dodge hasnt fixed the trucks.
  6. WMAs are state land. If the specific WMA has specific rules against it, then thats how it is there. If they dont specifically say you cant, then the rules I posted a link to take effect.
  7. They are neat, but if I get rid of mine Ill get another Sport.
  8. I have no reason to. The recall is all about a nut in the rear end. Theres nothing wrong with my truck. If I have to sell it back I will, if not, Ill keep it. My Ex's 03 Durango with the same 4.7 in it is way over 100k and has never had a major problem. That truck is a tank. You got a lemon, plain and simple. My father's 01 S10 with less than 60k on it has had all of the brake lines rot out, fuel lines and a few other things. His Buick Century was in the shop everytime you turned around. He ended up buying a Kia to replace it. If you knew my dad, youd know how much of a die hard GM guy he has always been, now he wont buy any of it. You can keep that GM junk.
  9. The 2009+ Rams dont run leaf springs, its a 5 link with coils.
  10. The Eco Diesel only has a tow rating of 7300lbs in a 4x4. It will get 27mpg, one of my buddys has one. I have a 2010 Ram with the Hemi in it. Has almost 100k on it and no rust besides where some ding dong side swiped me and I havent replaced the fender yet. The only problem I have had with my truck was the exhaust manifold studs broke and I had a leak for a couple of days before I took it in and they put all new studs on both sides, covered under warranty. Some guys talk about brake pads on their Dodges, well, thats what happens when you buy cheap pads. When I do, they are typically gone in 8 or 9 months. If I pony up and buy good ones, Ill get over a year. I do alot of driving, Im not easy on my truck at all. Ive towed a 9000+lb trailer from Tampa Florida to Rochester NY, and she didnt even breathe hard. Ive had a beavertail with a mid size tractor behind it, no problem. I flashed the computer on mine to up the hp and torque a bit, and run heavy 10 ply off road tires and still get 14 to 16 mpg. Mine has a 9600lb towing capacity, and will show all but the higher end mustangs and camaros her tail lights on demand. With the computer flash, my truck runs a touch over 400hp and 410ft/lb of torque. Before the heavy tires, Id get 20 to 21 mpg on the highway. My truck is on the Dodge buyback program because of a recall that was never fixed, but I havent gone to the dealer to see what my options are. Honestly, its a great truck and Id hate to get rid of it.
  11. Are you serious? Look, if you want to look as studies that track deer movement every 15 minutes for 365 days and plot them out to show when they are moving, where they are going, etc and say its inconclusive, well, I dont know what to tell you. There are plenty of other studies out there, I linked a few. Cost and manpower are getting smaller by the day, there are more studies running right now. Id be willing to put money on the conclusions they draw. I get why you refuse to see the light, its because you write about and sell your moon theory, so you have to stick by your guns. Its all good. Ill stick to looking at verifiable evidence.
  12. Lets start with this one, actually not GPS based, but certainly more scientific than moon voodoo https://www.qdma.com/articles/no-link-between-moon-phase-and-rut-peak Now for some GPS based studies. http://naturalpursuitoutdoors.blogspot.com/2014/08/new-gps-research-reveals-buck-movement.html?fb_action_ids=855005391178804&fb_action_types=og.likes&fb_source=other_multiline&action_object_map=[673156592762295]&action_type_map=[%22og.likes%22]&action_ref_map=[] https://www.qdma.com/articles/is-the-lockdown-phase-a-myth https://www.qdma.com/articles/what-triggers-the-whitetail-rut As I suggested, do some Google searches, lots of info out there if you look. https://www.google.com/#safe=off&q=whitetail+gps+study BTW, the link you posted has nothing to do with the subject at hand.
  13. GPS collar studies. Google them. There have been quite a few in recent years, in various areas of the country, and they always come up with the same conclusion about the moon. It has no effect.
  14. A few from Saturday's field day and how the one demo plot turned out after we finished it up.
  15. Heres a few pics from Friday getting things prepped and a few pics of what our plots are looking like so far...
  16. You were reading an FAQ, not a law. Id be surprised to see "etc" in the actual wording of the law.
  17. I would email the DEC on this one.
  18. Is that a Cajun Injector brand smoker? Looks just like mine did when it was new. Mine is alot darker inside now.
  19. They have to make it vague, as ROW is different per county/town.
  20. I prefer Mil Dot, and I have used more than just the primary point for shooting a deer.
  21. Remington 700VTR in 308 or my TC Encore 50 cal ML
  22. You mean Jesus guided your slug to the buck's vitals?
  23. Got mine today online. Skipped out on the ML tag. Got my 2 DMPs for 8H.
