As far as Moog's dragonfly goes, are you all even sure he painted it? I saw this on PBS one day while I was flipping through channels.... -

If Moog's dragonfly was in there, I might pay top dollar for it -
Unless its a bulldozer, then have at it. They even have new signs for those.

Easy answer to that....

Its not that we dont know how to do it, we just dont do it. We no longer do bans on request either. You are all adults, and we arent going to babysit your lack of self control. If you dont want to be a member here, then stop logging in.

We have some prizes left over from the Whitetail Challenge, so we are going to use some of them for this contest. The rules are simple. Post 1 picture of your kid(s) in the field. Pictures can be of your kids out hunting with you, fishing, planting food plots, shooting, etc. by the deadline, which is January 20th at midnight. After the deadline, I will have my son pick the best picture. The prize package should be for the child of the winner and will include a WGI trail camera, SD card reader and a hat. The only hitch is, this is only open to those that entered the Whitetail Challenge. Not just those that submitted entries, but anyone that signed up for the contest. Please, only post entry pictures in this thread. All other posts will be deleted. If I have To delete non-entry posts from the same person more than twice, youll receive a free 2 week vacation from the site. If you post multiple pics, Im going to choose the one for you and delete the rest. Sorry guys, gotta keep this simple. This is kind of a test to see if I want to do a quick monthly contest in addition to the two or three bigger ones per year (Whitetail Challenge, Spring Turkey, Youth Turkey).

You can do it. I dropped a bunch of weight about 4-5 years ago, cut out most of the sugars and started running everyday. I went from just about dying running around the block to doing 3 miles a day within just a few months time. I then started hitting the gym 3-4 times a week doing a mix of cardio and weights. At that point I started gaining weight, but losing fat, and got to a good place. Then I blew my knee out while I was out hunting a couple of years ago and have since fallen off the wagon. I need to get back to it this year, my knee is finally feeling up to it again. The biggest thing is, dont do anything too drastic right off the bat, work your way into it. Smaller incremental changes are easier to stick with in the long run. At least thats how it worked for me, if it wasnt for the knee injury I would still be at it.

Jay, you beat me to it lol

This Would Certainly Make Me Think WTF!
WNYBuckHunter replied to DirtTime's topic in General Hunting
I wouldnt pass a deer that had them, they come off with the hide and do not affect the meat. -
Now that Im shooting a caliber that wont tear them in half, the nice hides will be tanned and hung up down in the mancave. The not nice ones will be left out for the critters.

Need help with Sausage and Jerky
WNYBuckHunter replied to Five Seasons's topic in Game Recipes / Cooking
For whole muscle jerky, the easy way to tell when its done is by bending it. If you bend and small cracks appear, its done. I havnet made any of the ground stuff so I cant help you there. -
Sorry guys, I was in a food coma... Well, I have to say, the food there was great. Haley and I shared an order of the berberie wings, and we both loved them. Each of us got a burger and they were very good. Only problem was, they were so darn thick, it was hard to get a bite that had all of the ingredients in it lol. We are definitely planning to go there whenever we are in the area for one of her games. Jay, it was great seeing you there

I’ve missed out on some get together a at the Goat but I keep Hearing how great the food is. I’m in Depew for one of Haley’s hockey games today so we are gonna go to the Goat for lunch. Can’t wait!

Direct beam doesn’t even seem to matter. I’ve had them react similarly to both halo and direct beam.
