I like the "3 strikes your out" deal. We'll give you narcan 3 times. If you choose to continue and not get help, your on your own. I don't think it's right that I have to pay over and over to the same people to save there asses. Narcan isn't cheap, our taxes are paying for this stuff. And before you if I knew someone who's gone through this, I'd think differently, you'd be wrong. I've see the destruction, pain this cause the person and their families. Sorry but it is a choice. You choose to continue, no more narcan.

Worthwhile Gear You've Purchased
mowin replied to The_Real_TCIII's topic in Hunting Gear Reviews and Gear Discussions
Thermacell rechargeable heated insole. Rage broadheads. Outdoor edge swing blade knife, trail cameras, folding saw. -
Check to see what the engage lever actually moves. If it's basically tightens the belt to engage the deck, then the transmission clutch is a separate unit.
-
Ok are u positive this model is a lever engage deck? a lever engage doesn't have clutch bearings as there's no clutch. Most just tighten up the drive belt to the deck pully. Try keeping the jumper cables hooked up and then try the engage lever.

That idiot got what he deserves. Gator gave him a warning, he didn't listen.
-
I've seen several single fawns so far, but no twins yet.
-
If that was some normal Joe, I'd agree. But to even get anywhere close to hitting his Target at that distance is far from pure luck.
-
Little clarification. When you say the mower cuts out when trying to engage the blades, your meaning the engine? Or the blades try/start to turn, but the deck shuts down and engine keeps running? If the engine shuts down, I'm leaning towards seat switch. I know you said it's jumped, but try plugging it back in and see what happens.

What's the most "worthless"
mowin replied to fasteddie's topic in Hunting Gear Reviews and Gear Discussions
Oh man. Where do I start. Numerous blinds, not the hub style. I could get them open, but folding them back up was a instant America funniest home video winner. Someone mention those boil hand warmers. Yep those were awful. The first carbon arrows. Had these long aluminum point adapter that slid over the shaft. Shoot into a new Makenzie Target, and those dam point adapter would bend. They were epoxyed on. Bushnell range finder. Lasted two weeks. Bushnell said I abused it. Not a scratch on it, but I guess leaving it in it's case was concerned abuse. Never purchased anything Bushnell since, and that was probably 20 yrs ago. I know there's more, but I think my subconscious has blocked them from my memory. -
Ok, so disregard my previous post since JK did his homework and this model has a engage lever not a electric PTO. So I agree with him that there's a switch under the seat or the reverse switch that's bad. Seat sould be easy to test. Start mower and get off. If it stalls, switch is working. That mower shuts the deck off once the gear shift is put in reverse. Some mowers there's a way to override that system. On my brothers craftsman, you had to turn the key further to keep the deck on while backing up.
-
Absolutely. The key is water. I overseed lawns all summer as long as my client is willing to water the area properly. And there well doesn't go dry. Lol. Make sure the seed has good contact with the soil. Rake the area good and roll the area after seeding to ensure good seed to soil contact. Some starter fertlizer would be great too. If you haven't applied any weed and feed type fertilizer recently, your good to go. If you have, the stronger fert may burn the seed.

If it's a electric PTO, it could be the PTO switch. Had mine go south a few times over the years. Mower runs great, hit the switch, and nothing happens...

I make hundreds of pounds of sausage every yr. I've never, nor have I ever heard or read, until now, to let natural casings soak for 5 days. Not saying it won't work, but totally unnecessary. A hr or so and change the water once or twice is all that's needed.
-
Lol, I've had loads of fun with one of those. Very effective.
-
I can't believe this trailer hitch rumor is still floating around.
-
Absolutely. Some of the best fresh water fish around
-
Well, that is odd. But I've seen several nests with 15-16 eggs over the yrs, but 10 is more common. Weird one is out of the nest. I did once spook a hen off a nest with 6 eggs and a week or so later went to check, and a partridge flew off the nest. There was the original 6 turkey eggs and 8 Partridge eggs. Would love to have see that partridge walking around with several turkey poults following her. Lol

Actually never ate one. Heard the exact opposite that there nasty and full of bones. And the cats? Big or small, out of LC there nasty. Very muddy tasting. I kept a couple smaller 5 lber and soaked them in water, then buttermilk. Even smoked em. Didn't care for them. Fortunately, during the tournament, you get bonus points for them being alive, so all of ours get released.
-
Yes they do. They hurt too.
-
That can't be fun. My cousin and I fish for cats mainly, then Ling. Our teammates fish for largemouth, then lazy fish with us for cats, lol. I'm the most un lucky when it comes to bass fishing. I try, but I plain suck at it..
-
Ok. Have no clue why my post above went in buckmasters quote. Oh well. Here's a pic of my cat last yr.

Been fishing the LCI father's day tournament (lake Champlain international) for many years. Looking forward to next weekend. We fish out of crown point. Won some money twice, but the last few yrs have been tuff.
