  1. That's his late father's rem 700. It did have a little damage from the fire, but a friend fixed it up as best as he could. I don't think he'll ever use any other rifle.
  2. Kayden hunted hard. Got his first deer with the bow early in the season, but has struggled to connect with the rifle. He picked the right stand this afternoon.
  3. Not that I know of, but he definitely won if we're going by points, lol.
  4. You are correct. Sorry RTCII, no he didn't get to keep my rifle. Lol
  5. Well that little spike is playing games with thyme. He came back out into the field, but ran back to fast. Hopefully he gives him one last chance. And my nephew Kayden just texted me saying he dropped a nice one. Waiting for pics.
  6. It's great. Easy to walk in compared to several inches.. I've got a $6600 plow in my shop, and I'm hopeful I never have to hook the thing up, lol.
  7. Well, his rifle has to be off. He missed several times at 70 yrds at a 6" spike. So, I hopped off of stand, ran, ok shuffled, to my truck, drove the mile or so to where he was, shuffled a lot slower to him, grabbed his rifle and handed him mine. Back in the truck with no viable weapon to get back on stand with, lol. He still has 2 solid hrs. Hopefully a deaf doe will pop out of the woods.
  8. Waiting for new member Thyme. He's driving up to northern Columbia county to meet me at the farm. Hopefully I can put him on a deer or two. I've got a difficult to get 4U DMP to sign over to him, so hopefully he'll get his first deer today. Been sending him pics of 6-8 does every afternoon in the food plot. Hopefully the wind will be good to hunt that stand. Success pics hopefully to follow.
  9. This^^^^^ Block out your name and address. He'll be able to see the lien area is clear.
  10. You and I can learn together. The few times I tried, I failed miserably.
  11. Never learned to fly fish. I purchased all the stuff to start 35 yrs ago, but never learned. Maybe when I retire I'll find someone that can get me started.
  12. I've taken several deer at 150-200yrds with that combo.
  13. Pm sent. Glad to help out. I enjoy helping others get their first deer or turkey.
  14. If rifle hunting, your regular season tag is for a buck only during that season. It switches to a either sex tag during the late bow/ML season. I have a DMP tag I can sign over to you for the area I hunt.
  15. The ruling is No new chuckle thread. Jerkman decided to start one, and he got a vacation and the thread was locked.
  16. Are you looking for antlers only? I've got a couple spots I can take you to if you're interested in taking a doe. I've got the proper doe tag I could sign over to you. I'm in northern Columbia county.
  17. One major flaw in your scenario. A EXPERIENCED gun owner wouldn't hand someone a firearm they forgot to unload. That would be a Un experienced firearm owner.
  18. She did all three lifts. Not sure what weight she managed on the other two.
  19. She's 25. Working on her master's degree in hospital administration. Working full time and owns her own home. Smart kid.
  20. She beat a lot of the guys lifts. From what her mom said who was at the meet, another gal was bragging about busting the state record. She failed by 25lbs. Wouldn't congratulate my stepbrat.
