  1. Quick Google search shows a width of 17.75. So yes legal to hunt with in NY.
  2. I believe it definitely does. I've been told by a couple doctors and several nurses we know that overuse of hand sanitizer and anti bacterial soaps isn't good for you. They dry out essential oils that protect the skin. My wife uses the stuff constantly. She wakes up in the middle of the night and I hear the top pop on the bottle of sanitizer. I ask her who in her dreams she came in contact with to need hand sanitizer, lol. Her hands all all dried out and has to use lotion frequently. I haven't touched the stuff. Just wash my hands like I normally would before this crap started with plain old soap and water, and no dry skin issues.
  3. Heard lots of shots in my area of northern Columbia county (4u). My nephew missed a spike, twice. Said he was shaking too bad. He took a small doe later in the morning, and seen a dozen or more deer on the neighbors property thats off limits. Walking in yesterday morning a few minutes after legal , I see several deer about 100yrds out running around. Binoculars showed two smaller bucks chasing a doe. They were in and out of the field several times before they ran into the scrub for good. Had a BB walk past 3 times with his nose to the ground grunting trying to figure out where those deer went to. Buddy across the road had 10 does, fawns in the thick stuff. Only deer he could get a clear shot on was a spike, which he passed. Afternoon hunt I went in the same blind and had several does, fawns and a spike milling around in the brush. Took this doe with one ear and half a tail.
  4. I'm the same way. I've never been to NYC and hope I never do. I can tolerate Albany, but always look forward to seeing it in the rearview mirror.
  5. Yep. Our house is 1300sq ft. Shop is 1600.. as it should be. It's insulated and heated. I spend a lot of time out there in the winter doing nothing except puttering around.
  6. Nope. Actuallya few minutes closer to me.
  7. Part of the process was knowing you did everything in your living room, it's what made the mounts more impressive, lol. I thought my 35x48 shop was big. 3000 sq ft out building is impressive. Looking forward to seeing it. Merry Christmas my friend..
  8. Proud to call you a friend. So happy for you and your better half on the new home. And yes I'm looking forward to seeing the new house and more importantly, the shop, lol.
  9. I've logged out several times and signed in. The weird thing is all the other forums I'm on are working as the should.
  10. Some people will never be happy no matter what the state does. Don't like the new season, don't hunt. To spout off that it going to stress out the heard that's already at the breaking point is absurd. Make it sound like were suddenly going to see dead deer that died from stress all over the place because of this season. Dec 26 was dads birthday. I'm looking forward to shooting a doe or two on dads day. He loved to hunt. I watched more deer pass my stands this yr as I love to hunt deer and didn't want all my tags filled to early.
  11. Just chrome. Mod wants me to try tapatalk, but I'm hesitant to try it. Still using my old tablet until I figure this out.
  12. Well that sucks. I purchase the otter box defender case for every phone I get. Definitely saved me money.
  13. He definitely does great work for only being at it for 3 yrs. My nephews 8 pt is the 3rd buck I've taken to him. Him and his wife are great people.
  14. New Motorola edge. All forums working as they should except for HNY. When I click on the reply to topic, or the box, my keyboard doesn't pop up, and the field where I would type says "loading". In a PM when I click on "subject" my keyboard pops up and I'm able to type, but as soon as I click on the message field, keyboard disappears. To post this, I'm Using a old tablet that doesn't hold a charge, and takes overnight to charge it enough to get about 30 mim out of it. I PM'ed WNYB, but was hoping someone might have a simple solution.
  15. Used to get a lot of smelt under the bridge 20 yrs ago. They definitely disappeared.
  16. I hope it does come in by mid Feb. Just picked up my Chevy around Thanksgiving that I ordered back in May.
  17. Been there many times. We usually don't fish above the bridge. Buddies camp is about a mile below the bridge. His camp has 63 steps from the deck to the water. Do you fish the LCI father's day derby?
  18. Where about on champion do you go. Buddy of mine has a camp in crown point. Usual hit that a few times.
  19. East of Albany. I'm not stuck on the concept, it's a fact. You care to think it doesn't matter, that's fine.
  20. Agreed. I got $1500 less than I PD for my F350. Had it for 2.5 years and 37,000 miles. It's crazy what they are giving for used trucks. It's listed on there website for $4k more than the sticker.
  21. I just traded in my 2019 f350. They practically climbed up the tailpipe looking for anything. Bed was pristine, except the POS bullet liner had several tears and peeling. They tried to take $500 off the trade, but my truck was so desirable, I held firm.
  22. Guaranteed you got less of a trade in because of it. Dealer might not have acted like it didn't matter, but it definitely mattered on what he offered you.
  23. So not true. A clean damage free bed will get you more money on trade then a scraped/scratched up bed.
  24. I've had rhino, linex, and bullet liners. LineX and rhino are about equal IMO. Bullet liner sucks. Mine pealed off easily on my 2019 Ford. Absolutely junk. My new Chevy has a factory spray in liner. Only had it for a couple weeks, so can't comment on how it holds up just yet.
