  1. Landowner does give a crap what happens as long as he gets his tax credit that it was cut for hay. He doesn't do any of the cutting. Local farmers does the cutting/ bailing. I just want to plant something after the second cutting that he can cut the fowling summer if possible. If not, what implement would work best? A disk, or spring harrow
  2. Well thats obvious. Just not sure which implement would best suit my needs or what to plant.
  3. I'm thinking about asking a client about doing some sort of food plot in one part of his fields. It is cut and baled for hay twice a yr. My plan is to prep a 200yrd by 100yrd area for some type of planning that will attract deer. Since it's cut for hay, I need to plant something the guy who bales it can still get something out of it, hopefully??? So what implement would work best? A disk or spring harrow? I know the landowner is not going to want it plowed under. So what's everyone's thoughts?
  4. First campfire in a few weeks.
  5. Wife and I are going next summer to check out areas we might want to move to in 4 yrs when she retires at 55 with 32 yrs at workers com board. Looking at the eastern part of the state.
  6. Holy crap. Will they even survive?
  7. Well, I just did a Google search for carpenter bee poop stains. And everyone that guessed carpenter bees is correct. Is so odd because there isn't a hole anywhere along that entire side of the house, and I'm there every week mowing his lawn and never seen any sawdust either.
  8. If the holes are on the inside, how is the stain getting on the outside.
  9. There is no hole anywhere near there or any sawdust on the ground. I've got them all over my shop, and have never seen anything like that, but my shop isn't white.
  10. There copper gutters. It does look like there's a hole in the gutter, but there isn't. There no seam there either.
  11. Thought of that, but someone has to have experienced this same shit..... or stuff???
  12. Nope. They always punch a prefect 1/2" hole and leave wood shavings, not a stain. No evidence of a hole or shavings.
  13. Same thoughts. But on further inspection on a ladder, I couldn't find anyplace for one to hide.
  14. 3 yrs in a row, these stains appear every spring. We can't figure it out. I clean them off, and they don't reappear until the next spring. It's the only two spots on the entire house. We're stumped.
  15. I'm not hungry, but I could eat some of that.
  16. There's already a thread about it.
  17. Did you click on the one titled doe vs hawk? Appears to be a trail cam video.
  18. Edit... link didn't work perfectly. It's the video titled doe vs hawk. https://www.google.com/search?q=doe+attacks+hawk&oq=&aqs=chrome.0.35i39i362l4j46i39i175i199i362...5.-1j0j7&client=ms-android-verizon&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8# Not sure what the hawk was after, but mom certainly thought it was her fawn.
  19. That's a fantastic price. Look on FB what there going for. If I had the extra cash I'd snap it up.
  20. I feel ya, hunted the same property for over 25 yrs. None if us has ever seen a bear turd or track, let alone a bear on that property. My SIL the other day was driving by the farm, and almost hit a bear as it ran across the road in front of her. Funny thing is, I live 6 minutes from the farm, and have bears in my backyard raiding my dumpster.
  21. Mine is 052. Been 10 numbers away twice.
