Happy birthday

Lol, lots of places around that area to get a adult beverage.

Shes very familiar with that area. That's why she targeted it for her first purchase. I'll forward the deli recommendation to her.

In my younger yrs I had API. Now the biggest, sturdist, and comfortable ladder stands are what I use, lol.

Wife's daughter is now a homeowner. She bought a nice little little place in Albany between Albany med, where she works and St Peter's hospital. She did it all on her own while working full time and going to college for her masters. At 25 yrs old, too. I personally would have wished she waited as it is a sellers market, and the housing prices are through the roof. She's beyond excited, as are her mom and I for her.

Wow, great job cleaning her up. Looks fantastic. -
Nice, haven't seen any poults yet, but been seeing lots of hens in fields. Did see a partridge and 5-6 little ones dart across the road the other day.
-
Nice pics. I've seen a couple in my yard following mom around.

I thought anything larger then a rubber band and a paperclip had to be registered... Doesn't surprise me that the info isn't easily found online.

Congrats. You taking the rifle or the cash?

Lost hunting dog found in Bolivar, NY
mowin replied to Versatile_Hunter's topic in General Chit Chat
Poor pup. Over the years, I've probably found 10+ fox hounds from the local club. They don't call it "fox hunts" anymore. It's now Beageling. Lol. They don't actually hunt the fox, they let the dog loose and follow on horses dressed up in fancy garb. Passes me off because these dogs don't know a fox from a chipmunk. They chase anything, deer included. -
Looks good. Doing the same to mine hopefully before the fall. But I'm gonna need four 22 ton loads.

Love the new fire pit, but it takes a half cord to to fill it, lol. 30" wide by 20" tall 1/2" well casing. Hate to see how much wood wolc is going to need in his 12' silo base, lol

Footings for a small barn / shed

Not in my area. This February one of my clients had septic issues. 30" of frost. A big factor is how well the soil drains. Ours doesn't. All clay after a foot or so. -
Well, I was only 10 away on the 1st... most likely that the closest I'll get, lol

OMG, stop with the global warming BS. Go ahead and dig 20" and have the shed heave and eventually fail. Better yet why don't you dig up your waterlines and put them at 20". -

Trust me, a skid steere with a post hole digger will poke holes, just not where you want them. Resulting in a lot of hand work with a pry bar to remove the rock(s) that made your hole 6", at a minimum, from where you need it. Assuming you're like my area with very rocky soil. -
Nope. A hunter can only receive two DMP tags signed over from other hunters. In fact your license only has two spots where your supposed to record the tag numbers you received from someone before your allowed to fill that tag.

I had 35 post holes to dig at my place last summer. Tried my tractor with 3pt auger with dismal results. Rented a toro dingo and that resulted in failure because the auger kept going to one side or another because or rocks, and basically had to hand dig to get the whole in the proper spot. Took that back and picked up a 5000lb mini Ex. Had the holes dug in half a day. Biggest downside to this method is your hole is huge, and it takes longer to set the post and back fill/tamp to get the post solid. -
That's its nose. Compare the size to mom's eye. Little guy definitely doesn't have same size eyes as mom. You can just barely see its left eye below the limb.
