Well, I just did a Google search for carpenter bee poop stains. And everyone that guessed carpenter bees is correct. Is so odd because there isn't a hole anywhere along that entire side of the house, and I'm there every week mowing his lawn and never seen any sawdust either.

If the holes are on the inside, how is the stain getting on the outside.

There is no hole anywhere near there or any sawdust on the ground. I've got them all over my shop, and have never seen anything like that, but my shop isn't white.

There copper gutters. It does look like there's a hole in the gutter, but there isn't. There no seam there either.

It could be, I was thinking rabbit.

Nope. They always punch a prefect 1/2" hole and leave wood shavings, not a stain. No evidence of a hole or shavings.

Same thoughts. But on further inspection on a ladder, I couldn't find anyplace for one to hide.

3 yrs in a row, these stains appear every spring. We can't figure it out. I clean them off, and they don't reappear until the next spring. It's the only two spots on the entire house. We're stumped.

I'm not hungry, but I could eat some of that.

I feel ya, hunted the same property for over 25 yrs. None if us has ever seen a bear turd or track, let alone a bear on that property. My SIL the other day was driving by the farm, and almost hit a bear as it ran across the road in front of her. Funny thing is, I live 6 minutes from the farm, and have bears in my backyard raiding my dumpster.

Got a little buck around the house. Beds in the pines 30 yrds from my shop. Doesn't even move when I drop the gate on the trailer and fire up the mowers.

I have another client only 1/4 mile away. I might ask him if I can put some cams out.

So a few weeks ago I was mowing a clients lawn, and seen a white with darker bard markings feather. Figured it was a fluke... Two week ago I seen another all white feather with bark barbs. Today I was at the same client. I have to park on the road as there's no way to turn the truck and trailer around at the house. I park on the road 500' from the house. As I rode the mower up to the house, I see a white blob heading to the woods, with several fuzz balls following. OMG it a while colored hen with several poults. Long gone before I could even think about grabbing my phone. Asked my client if I could place some cameras, and she said no. I'm almost thinking of hiding some cameras, but this is a highly end client.

Sounds like a fun job for sure. Do you ever let people tour your facility? I'd love to if I'm ever in the area.
