  1. Had a aluminum landscape trailer before this one. Welds constantly breaking. Expensive to repair. I'd go galvanized
  2. I've got the same trailer(big tex). Its a 2011. The only thing thats weak is the gate. But I use mine daily from spring to fall. Rebuilt my gate 4 yrs ago. It's so frigging heavy now I had to get a set a gorilla lifts.
  3. Can't believe how green your grass is. Ours is still brown.
  4. I've been dreading this same thing. Fortunately, I haven't had to deal with what you're dealing with. But I'm usually in my basement every other day. Every time I go down the stairs, I'm hoping to see the green light on the freezer. I do believe at some point my luck will run out. Really need freezer alarms.
  5. Thats what this forum is all about.
  6. Congratulations on the new house. Rotterdam is a nice area.
  7. A cupcake has more knowledge about hunting than this guy.
  8. I looked for the same thing when we were looking for a place. But for less than $30 a yr, ONX hunt was $ well spent. Liked it so much I still have it.
  9. He most likely learned that talent from his dad....just sayin...
  10. Wanted to have one tonight, but I ran out of dry wood last week. Cut down a dead ash and cleaned up a huge maple leader at a client's property this week. Need to split and stack. Should be burnable in a few weeks. Enjoying others campfires through this site.
  11. Got the Serial killer pro pack. Great calls, sound great. Very raspy, but easy to play. Look forward to luring in a tom or two with them.
  12. I was asking Chef. His post mentioned he sells pallets of salt. But depending on where he is it wouldn't be cost effective.
  13. Your downstate, correct? Shipping or fuel/time probably wouldn't be cost effective.
  14. Thats a heck of a difference.
  15. Definitely want one, but it's definitely not the best time to find the shotgun, let alone the ammo. Thinking my 12g is going to be used the next couple yrs before I can find a autoloader and ammo.
  16. Haven't gotten a single shot.. zero side-effects. Who would of thought this was possible......
  17. I bought a pallet of salt. Nephew has pile of sand for a few private roads he sands. I put two bags of salt in the spreader, than shovel some sand and mix it as I add more sand. I might add another bag of salt if needed. Got lazy last couple of storms, and filled the hopper with wet sand from his pile. Was a PITA trying to find unfrozen sand, lol. It worked with the sand, but I kept getting the jamed error code even with the vibrator on constantly. I Would have to spin the spreader plate by hand to get it freed up. I think it would work great with bagged sand, as long as its kept dry.
  18. Ok, that makes sense. Really don't know about the new shoots. If they don't sprout, wouldn't the new underbrush do the same? Is there something you could plant to help?
  19. Mine is 700 from the road to my shop. All uphill, the first 150' is the steepest. I had a spreader for my 3pt hitch on my tractor, but its a open station, and I hated it. I've got my own plow on my truck. Bought a used buyers saltdog TGS07 this fall and love it. I've run straight wet sand through it, but it will clog even with the vibrator on. Works great with a 50/50 salt sand mix. My nephews has a tri axle dump, so I get crusher run for cast plus fuel. Going to fabric my drive, and put 4" of crusher on top. But I need to cut the edges down so the drive is higher than the sides.
