    Congrats grampy, jerrys daughter. Have to work tonight and i got out at 630am. Running home grabbing gear and still hunting/scouting until i have to get my son at 3. Then off until monday so ill get my woods time in now.

    Ive got a friend that would of pushed that shot and given me crap for passing. Thats why he lost a 6 opening day. You made the right choice. Now you know you still have a chance at him and hes not wounded somewhere slowly dieing.

    Congrats to those that punched there tags so far. Just found a guy at work got busted for baiting,taking a doe with no tag and a couple other tickets.

    Went to lease this afternoon didnt see anything. Thats about usual for gun season there. Good news as i was leaving the field next to the lease had 12 deer in it so they are there. They just went to wrong field tonight.

    Well sat from 540 to 430 nothing but a doe on the way out. Dad saw 1 deer at 650 but no shot. Not a good opening day for my group only 1 little skipper taken. And congrats to all of you that punched tags today. At again in the am.

    The guy from work im taking so he can try and get his firsr deer is already at gas station waiting for me. Hes 45 mins early. Lol think he a little amped up this morning.

    Didnt get out much but prettt typical bow season saw maybe 10 over 4 sits. But the best part was the encounter with the little spike and my nephew. I can still see his face and his arrow just a shaking with his first encounter with a buck.

    I saw a 6 pushing a doe while i was putting up my dads blind. And there is 8 inches there. And there are tracks everywhere.

    Ready for am cva wolf will be in my hands. Dads healthy finally so hes all set,buddy from work im taking was on cloud 9 today at work waiting for tomorrow(never killed one) Went and busted a trail open for my dad and my buddy so they new where to go and on my way back noticed deer tracks in my boot marks(was in the woods a total of 30mins). Looked up and i see a nice 6 nudging a doe through the open timber and right past my dads stand i just put in. Good luck and stay safe tomorrow.

    Sitting at lunch waiting to get done for the week. Going home grabbing gear,drop son of at daycare then to make sure my spots are all good for saturday. I will have the crossbow with me though.

    If its done friday i think they will get on their feet. They need to eat at some point. If i dont see anything after a couple hrs ill go find them. Hunting a huge piece of stateland so ill cut some tracks somewhere.
