Used hunting pants for $250, I should've known better.

They had a DEC rep on the Bob lonsberry show on Syracuse talk radio today. He went thru this new proposal some. He was saying they want to implement a system where when you fill a doe tag in areas that have leftover tags you automatically get another one. Thought that was a good idea as well. He also said the sept hunt would def only be high deer population areas. I mostly like the plan except for selling wild game and would like to see some sort of forest management plan change for the Adirondacks to bring back a better game population. Huge possible resource that could have the potential for so much more.

He told me it was his stand but it looked like a motel 6. He said it was just a real nice blind.

i tried buying Lawdwaz's used pants hoping I would now get 2 bucks every year and it hasnt worked yet, I dont think it works that way.

this will increase the trade in value as well

I've got ammo to get by for prob the next 10 hunting seasons if need be, esp the rate I take shots which this year is zero and last year was one, but was hoping to add a couple of boxes still. Esp for some shooting practice here and there. Guess I am waiting a while.....

Yup. The shelves are just empty. Saw one endcap had some .22 stingers and 2 boxes of shot. Worse I've seen it though. No rifle ammo of any kind.

I will prob be the beagle for a day. Lol. I usually try to do a push for my buddy at the end of season sometime. He is usually grinding to get one deer. This year he did get a spike in bow season. And normally I would agree but it's like this every year. It's a weird spot. And not that we don't just not see them but during snow I have walked thru the thick stuff just to look around and you can't even find a track. We have 9 cams out and have basically two deer pics in the last 10 days. Both the same 2 does. Yet down the road is an open Greenfield and it will be loaded with deer in evenings. But too far from us for them to come bed.

I was just looking for a few more arrows for next season. The ones I use are also out of stock everywhere . I prob have enough for next season and practice. But this all is crazy.

If you haven't used your muzzle/bow tag then yes. It's not widely known and I was surprised as well. Didn't know this til reading here a few years ago.

Read above regulations/law. You can use regular season tags in late season. This is on this forum every year. As long as you have bought the muzz/bow privilages as well. It is not well defined on DEC site, better defined in law code. Look under "d" "ii"

Hunt #40 12/5. Light -10:30. CSS stand 7F. Didn't see anything. Corey was in opener and also didn't see anything. Pulled cam by stand and no pics. Something seems wrong with the cam will have to check it out. It for gun for me, maybe next weekend though for a last try pending work . Corey is off all week. Really hope he has some action.
