How the school doing on snow days. Most here are out or have one left. Cuomo said the day we had that crazy wind that taking a snow day for that wind wouldn't be counted against the school. What cracks me up is no one believed him and it didn't make sense since how is he gonna have it covered.... Lol. Superintendents were all saying ....what the hell does that even mean? Hope you got a couple days to spare as some schools here are already looking to shorten April break. Which never works too well cause a lot to the students won't come in anyway. If they try it at the end of the year then no one comes in.

I'm saying two more weeks and it's over! Better days are coming. Sunday looks like you eastern guys are gonna get a decent one.

Dan might not be a bad thing that someone sees you with the pistol before opening the door , they know you mean business. Def handy having options. I planer board troll with the 40 up and the speed seems about right. When I use crawler harnesses I slow troll with the trolling motor. But can't t see my depth finder. Def need to change that . And also while we are just drifting. Plus my fishing buddy is sick of me asking the depth every 2 minutes. Lol.

lol - for sure ! Last few years i either spend opening day in the dacks for Northerns or in the turkey woods. First weekend is such a mess on Oneida lake. But have spent many opening nights there years ago for sure. I'm glad i dont have bait yet, might have thought about it too! opening day reminds me of this

bought a depth finder for the front of the boat today . Not putting it on trolling motor - but have another plan - just going to run the line to the back with the other one. Funny thing is i want to try to get into the storage barn to start working on it - but chances are not getting thru the 3 ft of snow in front of the door at storage - lol ........ and im too old to shovel all that! but i really want to! Winter blahs make me think of these things, Gotta have something to look forward to. And yes i did line these poles up already and hook crawler harnesses and sinkers to them!

i have to say i have never had bagels and locks - something ive got to try . Never cared for sushi but this sounds good as i like smoked salmon - Fish fry this weekend though - walleye fillets fried the way God intended! lol

Herbs is in bad shape right now. They claimed bankruptcy but are still open - but the one in Oneida is downsizing, heard they closed the Dewitt store and they have hardly any inventory right now. Hope they turn it around - always liked this store and there is one 2 minutes from my office. And some good folks work there as well

has a good selection of guns there - rifles and pistols. Lots of fishing gear. The hunting clothing seems a bit high price - but found guns and xbow ofter $100 cheaper than bass pro - (looked at a ruger 06 - $449 bass pro - $359 at runnings). They have a whole aisle of sodas that you can buy in singles which is kinda neat for kids - all different kinds -the kids can keep up with you on micro brew selections! Also sell TSC type of farm stuff. Ive bought a rifle and my xbow there. They have a good stock of ammo as well. Lots of pet stuff. Just like goosifer said a mix of those three. I go to bass pro a lot of times for some fishing tackle or to look/handle stuff as they have a big selection but then end up getting it at runnings or online for cheaper.
