    i agree and just finished up some last week and luckily bought a regular head of iceberg this week. Wonder why its always the romaine? and just in time to not go with leftover turkey sammiches.

    CDC says to throw out ALL Romaine lettuce and even clean anywhere in fridge you might have had it! Not just a certain brand but any of it! yes people bacon has won! no more L on the BLT! Sorry for the bad news Bionic.... bacon is now officially healthier than lettuce!

    Kimber Adirondack in 308? I was thinking about this and i really think i am done buying guns. Finally happy with everything I have. Takes me a while of buying and trying and trading and switching. But once I get to where i like it I settle in. Im good with the pistol i have, my main deer gun - 12 g shotgun, .450 rifle, and turkey gun etc. , love my muzzleloader and even have my moose gun ready (BAR in 30-06) if i ever draw a permit. good luck and have fun shopping - worst part is having to choose! lol

    i miss the bow season already! yeah Th and Fri morn was gonna hunt. Thurs---10 degrees and wind , Friday ---5 degrees. Might sit it out til Sat. I havent slept passed 5 am since Oct 1 so maybe sleep in a day!?

    Losing one sucks but you def did some tracking and put a huge effort in. Def makes for tough pill to swallow. Better luck rest of season . And hopefully a big smile over the deer your daughter gets. Tough one WNY

    i got feeling one of these characters hunting today has one down already!!!! Just a gut feeling ! and hoping WNY is dragging now too!

    a lot of crossbows have different style knocks so be sure to get the right ones that match up. I would def practice with the same arrows you use to hunt. Once its sighted in I have one spare arrow to decock the bow and to use to check sighting. When i hunt i take the target in the truck so i know after every hunt its still sighted right since i have to shoot it anyway. And i always shoot at least 20 + yards away to the target so not to damage fletches cause i did the same thing. Most crossbows come with or have recommended bolts for them , i would stick with the same ones.
