My little garden is in. Long range temps look to be cooler but not frosty so going for it. Plus the lake helps to regulate the temps a lot. Got buckets to cover though in case. Making the most of a day off. 3 tomato plants, 2 cherry tomatoes, 3 hills of zucchini, 5 sweet heat peppers, and already planted earlier green onions and swiss chard. We should allow crossbow for youth hunters as i stated . To help get them interested in hunting then at 16 they are no longer youths and likely to transfer into bow. As i also stated several times. Nothing new or different. Just your comprehension. And you also dont go thru and read past posts ever - your known for that. WTH are you talking about ..... Nothing you said here was said in any of my comments. You should go easy on the day drinking. First of all it's not 55 it's 35. And my ex wife struggled with it when she got into target shooting. Secondly there are guys here that can't draw 55 lbs so no idea what your talking about for sure. And my point was a 14 year old ( which is youth hunting age not 16) girl or boy for that matter is likely to struggle pulling back a bow but might get interested if they could use an xbow. Then once they turn 16 they are no longer a youth and would switch to using a bow because they are now hooked on hunting. But whatever......pour another one and enjoy the day. It's beautiful out. funny you mention this i saw one on my way home for lunch by the state park today and thought it was early, tiny little guy along my road with 3 other deer.

My former wife got into target shooting and struggled with the bow weight. Not sure how many can or can't. Just see it as a good option to help get youth involved in hunting. But I def would like to see it for older folks. And I was disagreeing that youth wouldnt then use a compound later. They would have to once reaching age. ive hiked into lost ponds and some others fishing. Always seemed so thick it would be about impossible to see a bear. I fished the red river there one time with another guy. We came out and a guy was standing on the bridge and as we walk up he says " you never saw it did you..." saw what? He said there was a bear just ahead of us on the river and he could see us both from the bridge. As we moved up a hole to fish he seemed to stay just ahead of us. I did see bear scat but never saw the bear. Some in there but tough to find one i am sure.
