2 weeks is the Maine moose draw. Hoping I get to try it out on moose! -
Tried out this hot dog sauce from Buffalo. It's ok but think it would be better on burgers. The jalapeño wickles were good.

Been thinking of sending my BLR 30-06 out for some trigger repairs as it is a heavy trigger. So before spending $150 on doing that went out and shot it today. Saving the $150. It is gonna be fine. -
That's a winter job! It season you should be ready!

2 kids just walked by toting poles and about a 20" walleye. That's always nice to see. I'm sure I wasnt the only one to congratulate them.

That's just so right. We used to bring back smoked sausage from the Amish in PA, it was so great . Used to buy 50 lbs of it. Looks like he has that perfected.

But all that is fun too. On the tractor doing what u want with new property. A cold beer in the summer, that's all good.

would agree with Grampy. Those sunnies cert tend to do that unless you really keep the population down. Problem is you get them in there and there are so many and they are so small you dont want to keep them and have a tough time getting the hook past them too. But if just for a kid pond they give lots of bites. Catfish are a nice addition as well and usually dont stunt as much or are as prolific as bullheads. And for me crappies are ok but for an eating fish they are very good but there is nothing to them , even the bigger ones. they are so thin. and yeah senkos are the deal! once saw a guy catch two lake trout off them on a little lake in jefferson county . if it swims it eats senkos! looks like a great property - would love my own pond. Always wanted to have a pond with rainbows and browns in it.

ok sounds good. And PM me if you cant find those locations for hunting as well. I can show you where they are. and heres a tip for some stream fishing nearby. Fish creek below the harden furniture factory has about everything in there at times.

its cheaper just to give $20 or buy the cart beers for the guy in the cart with you and push the pencil a little harder on the scorecard!

Welcome to the area.. I posted some info for you on the region 6 thread. My best buddy is at griffiss in air national guard. Small world. And def like the area, Sylvan is a nice spot to hang in the summer....but.like an abandoned mining town in the winter though. Lol. Good luck

Welcome in. We are close to being neighbors. Im in Verona beach. Rte 49 is the north/south line. So you got some options. To get you started there is some county owned land that can be hunted off 49 headed towards rte 46 and new London. It's actually not hunted too hard. They do fire training there and it's quite a bit of land. It's on the southern side or right side headed towards new London. Look it up on Google maps or something like huntstand . If you drive by they have some red triangles out there. I wanna say it's bow only. Also Verona beach state park. on the opposite side of road of the camping park. You have to get a form to fill out and keep with you in your vehicle. Can get those at the state park office. Also bow only. Lots of land there and have to put up with some hikers, pheasant hunters and horse riders, but get off the beaten path and you'll find some areas. There is access to this on rte 13 and on Poppleton rd good luck

Most townships require a permit for a shed. And they also make you anchor it so that in a storm etc it doesn't go into road or into someone. But yes would ask tax office/assessor office. A tow behind camper should be fine as long as it is registered and the wheels are not taken off.
-
Only way you will avoid taxes going up would be to use a registered camper, thus not a permanent structure. Anything else you'll need a build permit etc and they got ya.

Went to get some Ted's but by the time I bought and shipped it was $25 for hot dog sauce.....so no. So I found this instead here locally and its also from Buffalo. What say you? When I do grill dogs I like to have a toppings bar of relishes, onions, pickles etc so like to add some sauces too.
