    Sitting here eating breakfast watching a hunting show. The guy is hunting ostrich with a bow. Interesting.... What's your favorite hunting show. Mine is " Meat eater" he always shows how they process animal and then cook it too. Also like "on your own" and bone collector.

    Hash made from homemade venison summer sausage with eggs. No hunting this morn in this crazy weather.

    So windy here. Went to a 9 ft stand tucked in the brush. Don't like bobbing and weaving in a high stand. Also put up a scent dripper. See if we can get em going. Tomorrow morn looks like a washout. But the pm might be real good.

    Saw my first active scrape this morning.

    Saw 4 doe this morn and a nice scape near my stand. That's a good sign. Haven't seen any active scrapes til today.

    Update. Pretty girl is down one deer so far. She was up on me by a bushel of apples. But I got a doe so that put me in the lead!!

    Blueberry bread French toast with bacon jam and little smokies.

    Most of front shoulder I do for grind. A little bit of stew meat. If a decent sized pieces near the blades I cube those with a heavy knife.

    Saw 8 does tonite in greenfield of clover. Some got to within 60yards by dark. Was pinned in for 30 minutes after dark and finally got down to sneak out . But at least saw lots of deer.

    if you put in carrots its called soup. If i got carrots in my pasta sauce at a restaurant i would send it back. or peas.... or lima beans...... nope.

    the internet rumor is that Abraham will make an appearance on Fear. Hoping so he was my favorite for sure. They should tie the two together somehow --- it would be cool if Madison was Negans x wife.

    if your wearing a fur coat and skipping through the woods to fool a deer you need more than venison! lol

    if the deer are that smart we dont stand a chance cause they should be able to hunt us at that point.

    i am thinking the same. Maybe a bit of afternoon walleye drifting on Oneida lake. Off Sat - Wed, so hope to add to the freezer one day. Good luck.

    i am like you - never got a bear but want to try it and just get one once. I was gonna make bear beer brats and also a blueberry breakfast sausage. Then some stew meat and a little for braising. Wasnt gonna do any regular steaks cause it has to be well done. And I dont like any well done steaks. Might be one reason no one cares for bear. Well done venison is tough and dry as also.

    def go back and zero that in. I once had a bad scope from bushnell and they replaced it for free. I missed a deer at 60 yards and went and shot the gun and it was all over the place. Put on a different scope and all was good again.

    well I did use dark and light chili beans ! Heck i would eat it either way - as long as no Lima's in it. Thats a deal breaker.

    a buddy of mine had the same thing happen. He went weeks and then insisted to his dr to test for Lyme and of course it was positive. He even had Bells palsey fora bit before treatment. and then he got a new Dr. I had it for a weekend and went to dr first thing monday and felt better 2 days later
