    I just meant that if it gets late in the season and you haven't seen him yet, ya gotta try something different. Id rather see him running away, then not see him at all.

    Continue to document everything, including the hours you spend to re-clean your kitchenware, etc. Keep track of the hours you are losing sleep, losing out on hunting, etc. Sounds like you got a pretty solid case against this farmer. Don't give in to anything and in the end I think you will rewarded financially. Lastly, do not accept the first financial offer you receive. Ask for more!

    I just sit against a big tree or rock wall, wearing an orange vest and hat. I try to move as little as possible. I don't have a problem seeing deer.

    Thats less than 3 hours per time out? I assume because of work? But what about weekends? You could be doing 10+ hour days in the woods. 4 weekends should be 80hours right there.

    Come gun season, I'd just walk every inch of the property till I kicked him out of his bed. Then figure out how to spot n stalk this guy. Gotta be able to get a shot at him someway somehow.

    The guy who almost shot it, was my roommate at the outfitters place last year. He said its a 140"+ deer. Weight-wise a monster as well.

    I seen an episode on Outdoor Channel about Milk River, they had footage of giant whitetail bucks walking around, spazzing out, going into the river and dying. It was pretty weird.

    I hunt in a shotgun only county (Putnam). I have a Browning BPS Pump 12ga Shotgun with a Leupold scope. I feel very very comfortable out to 100 yards with it.     If the OP measures the tines, I'm sure somebody will be able to estimate it pretty damn close.

    I'm going to say G2's are more like 12" so thats 8" off right there, and the G3's are like 9" so thats 6" off right there. So 114" less 14" is 100". If you over-estimated any other measurements, its just below 100"

    I'm no expert, but I'm not sure if either break 100. Maybe the one of the left does?

    Congrats! I got a porcupine last year when hunting in PA. It is my first and only kill with a crossbow. I got it mounted.

    Forgot to post this picture. A Western Diamondback rattlesnake that my guide had killed a few weeks before I got there. The snake was over 5' long and as thick as an arm.

    This December/January will be Minnesota for Bobcat. Next October/November will be back to Pennsylvania for Whitetail with crossbow. Next December/January will be British Columbia for Lynx. That's all I got for right now. Probably wait a few more years before another wolf hunt. Went in 2007 to Alberta and this past March to N. Ontario, both with no luck.
