If people are "messing up" your land, then I guess your land isn't quite big enough. If I wanted to own land where you live, I could. I choose not to. I too work in white collar. I took am very successful. White-collar, blue-collar, stripper, etc. many people on this forum do pretty well for themselves. You are nothing special I am sure of it. ps- I'm only 28, so I guess that makes me better than you, right?

Belo is 29. Im going to say he has probably hunted less than 10 deer seasons in NY and never hunted outside of the state. He has probably killed less than 5 different species of game in his life and never shot a deer over 130". Nothing wrong with any of the above, unless you are claiming to be the best hunter on this forum.

You didnt answer any of my questions. I don't care what you say. Hunting from the ground (no blind) with a crossbow is just as "hard" as hunting from a treestand with your Mathews. If you don't want people "messing up YOUR bow season", then get a good enough job where you can buy your own piece of property and don't let others on it!

Pretty good for me. Usually Im lucky to see 1-2 bucks the whole gun season. Opening day I saw 3 bucks by 750am and shot a 4pt. Haven't been out since.

Does it really matter if other hunters are using a PSE compound or an Excalibur Crossbow? It's only a matter time before it will be allowed in archery in NY. It works fine in PA and NJ already. I went alone to a hunting camp in the middle of north central PA during archery season. There were 11 bowhunters there besides me. Many of them go to this outfitter every single year. I was the new guy and the only one who used a crossbow. Not 1 person had a negative thing to say me. The hunters were from Vermont, NY, NJ, and Mass. I hunt from the ground 100% of the time, I bet you hunt from a tree stand. Do you climb up the tree with your hands and feet or do you use one of those primitive climbers or primitive ladder stands? Wake up bro, your 300+fps compound and luxury treestand doesn't make it any harder to shoot a deer than me sitting on the ground against a tree with a crossbow.

HAHA. Wrong, I don't care who is who. I provide the proper documents when asked. I always wear orange when hunting whether I have to or not. I don't fish during hunting season, because its hunting season!

I get checked on Kensico Reservoir all the time. It is NYC's drinking water supply so thats probably why.

I do everything unscented, including brushing my teeth. I never drink coffee before hunting or suck on cough drops that smell, etc. I bring pb&j sandwiches for lunch, never smelly oranges, etc.

That's awesome, congrats. My dad and I also keep a log each year. This is his 42nd year hunting whitetail in NY. He has 25 NY bucks. He had big gaps of years between getting bucks when he hunted the catskills for many years. Since we got access to property locally in 1993, my Dad has done much better. Probably like 15+ bucks in the last 20 years. This is my 13th year hunting whitetail in NY. I got my 6th NY buck this year. 5th in the last 6 years. I didn't hunt much from the ages of 18-22. We each have a book, where we put a 1 page story about our success of each deer with a few pictures. It's cool looking back at my deer from years ago. It's even cooler, to look back at my Dad's book and see stories from the late 1960's, etc. Those were on a typewriter lol.
