your talking to a guy who has quite a few dart championships under his belt plastic tip darts and steel tip. Not an armchair quarterback

hand shucking feed corn by the bucket full and then go drop it in the feed mixer .. dam watch your eyes slopping nasty pigs and chickens .All the fun things I don't want to shovel cow shit into spreaders ever again. it was more fun running the mountains with our shot guns and our lawn tractor minus the mowing deck.

I guess in this situation the old saying Dumb Is Fun just does not apply.HaHaHa.Apparent;y these idiots dont watch any news clips on how to and when to rob a gun store. You do it at night when the pistol packing owners are at home or during a riot. That guy is done infesting the human race with stupid genes .

Binoculars vs monocular. For hunting.
vizslas replied to zeus1gdsm's topic in Hunting Gear Reviews and Gear Discussions
Neither because they don't keep me in the woods any longer and they don't kill deer. My range finder does me just fine. And when I want to see the deer close up I am usually putting cross hairs on them. I will spend that money on warm or water proof stuff Sent from my XT1028 using Tapatalk -
i put this together in the weld shop yesterday Its a piece of 3/16 plate and a 5/8 round. after the welding i ran it through the sand blaster to give it a satin finish. so it not big enough for the hole in the skull. and with it being a busted rack it wants to lean to one side. I wrapped some tape around it witch sorta works for now. Going to drill a hole and pin in it sideways. The good news is it holds the head great.

I would like a inline designed scope for my ML.Witch then in turn frees up a scope for my British 303.Since I am not a fan of the Nikon BDC reticles this meets the check list. and the windplex reticle is pretty sweet. It can only help with windage adjustments. With a little range time on some windy days. The CDS dial is kinda like the cream on the cookie... A couple more days and I think i might swing the hammer on this. Win Win I would have to sight it in , ahhh the small pleasures in life

I shoot a barnes mz expander 245 grain bullet with 112 grains of blackhorn. No I have not shot the gun at 300 yards The furthest I have sighted is 127 yards. I now belong to a club with a two hundred yard range. At 127 yards I have 3 three shot groups all under 2 and a quarter inches. I can change my powder measure up and down a few grains . still need convince myself that I either have found the sweet spot or not yet. Way more range time to come. I think will stick with these bullets though. and switch to harvester sabots.

I took five with it this year and the shots were at distances of 120 125 160 155 197. and these were shots that are in the small field that i hunt in pendelton . I also hunt in middleport and all of the fields that i hunt next make 200 yards seem like a stones throw.. Now I know that a three hundred yard shot could happen any day and being ready for it takes all you have Considering hunting situations. I would have had my choice of two bucks this year... I woke up late one day therefore i was the guy who had to do the push, so i carried my 1100. Not that i am prepared to shoot at three hundred yards with the ml, After shooting my set up for a couple years I am quite confident that i can group this bullet at three hundred. I like the reticle design on this scope

Currently my scope on the ML is a few years old and was not designed to be a inline scope... Nikon pro staff 3x9 40 mil. I like the idea of the BDC reticle but hate the way they make them, not fond of the circles. I have been looking for something new for a while now and Leupold has a new scope check this one out. Its the Ultimate slam 3x9 x40 cds https://www.leupold.com/hunting-shooting/scopes/shotgunmuzzleloader-scopes/

I agree with the release .It does need to be a hand crafted piece of art, but more than that its form and function. If you don't have great form than you cant function properly.and without constant work you will not have enough muscle memory to create your form. No form and you will function sloppy, Thats where bad shots and wounded deer meet in a three dimensional world. To bad for the deer. I hate nothing more than failing at what i do. I wont go into my smoker and the summer sausage incident...It only takes a few minutes to shoot a few arrows. set up a camera use your game cam just to get some idea of what your form looks like... keep your elbows up and shoot straight. Remember pulling the trigger should be the easiest thing you do on a hunt. my regulator took a shit when i was ready to smoke my 30 pounds of summer sausage.. Keep a plastic bag over your regulators when not in use those needle valves are not very tolerant to dust and debris.

liquid smoke would be like using a condom.. Its just not the same

thats why i built this for my Toyota, dont mind the lump of dried blood

Well things didnt go according to plan.Apparently the regulator on my smoker took a dump. after going to Gander Mountain, Cabellas Home Depot and finally Wall Mart. looking for a new larger smoker.Nothing every one was sold out of anything that i wanted. Let me say this, I did not see this one coming. In the end I relented and put them in the oven , alas no smoked summer sausage this year. Its good but without the smoke i feel like I have failed. Not taking this very well. There is no way out of my smokeless hell. From the guy who refuses to have a gas grill. Only lump coal for me. Devastation helplessness i feel paralyzed. I think its time to go have a rest somewhere where they talk softly to you., but first I think I will go have some sausage, and pickled peppers.

I found this expandable sitting just over the back strap when i did my last deer a couple days ago. That deer got lucky with the arrow .The broad-head went in side ways and didn't cut any of the muscle. it was sitting between the fat and the silver skin. Although I am sure he had quite a back ache. There seemed to be bodily fluids starting to envelope the arrow head. Kinda nasty looking stuff.. Again fortunately for me that bucks time ran out and I got an unmolested piece of meat. Practice , take quality shots and please use the right equipment for the job. At least the arrow shaft was loose enough to unscrew itself and give the deer some relief. I chose that deer out of four in the field that day. Looks like the hunting gods were guiding my bullet that day

I get the boiling part, but they dont smell... no odor... I have the zippo ones and they work great but again the odor. i have four packs of those things so thats four hours after my hands get cold. gonna give them a try

A friend of mine gave this to me for x mas . They last about an hour, then boil it for ten minutes let it cool and reuse . It is a super saturated liquid witch reacts to the metal disc it gets hard and warm . pretty cool i took one yesterday when i went squirrel hunting i was impressed.

Looking forward to giving this belly buster a go. So anyway I got my best girl a ring. looks like there is going to be a wedding party. I love this girl she butchers deer, fillets perch lets me hunt all i want. and tells me to get a big one because we need another wall hanger. i ask you how does it get any better.... we have 13 deer seasons behind us as a couple and many more to come ...Merry Christmas
