  1. 12 gauge deer slugs and some new camo. and this nifty gerber knife
  2. its what keeps me sane. Ever since I can remember i was going on hunting trips with my dad. whether we were bird hunting deer hunting or trolling around in the car looking for woodchucks to shoot. thats when i learned to drive a car, while my father scanned the fields for woodchucks. It was a great time to grow up when an eight year old could learn to drive. I feel at home in the woods. Dad is gone now, but every time i go to where my heart belongs and score a deer i always make sure to thank the man who showed me how to feed my family. A big thanks to my dad for teaching my right.

  4. wow there are quite a few mushroomed bullets. as far as I am concerned they are as hard to find as hens teeth. I feal lucky every time i get on or some fragments of one. I have whats left of a 7.6 round sent to a doe from my British 303. I found the tip to a hornady sst out of my 12 gauge. looked down when i was talking to my hunting buddy and saw a red thing in the dirt. but thats about all i have.

  7. i think they hide in the ponds and breath through the reeds . them sons a bitches are smart and crafty
  8. I shot Power-belts when I first started shootin muzzle loaders . I had some issues with complete pass thru. Blood trailing was a problem if it was not for snow i would have thought i missed a doe , she never dropped a lick of blood. I have a lot of luck with barnes in my triumph. I shot 2 deer at 120 or so, then i got 2 more 1 at 150 and 1 at 165 and finally a buck at 197 yards. Not in that particular. It was a good year in pendelton. Looks like most of that powerbelt is missing. Did you weigh it for weight retention?
  9. of he top of my head i think there are 281 days to go. times running out better get yer shit straight that was a lil off this year. double check everything. I am looking forward to getting in the woods I havent been in there since bow season. Time to do some track hunting and shed hunting and a little late night scouting. Putting some BushyTails in the dutch oven is also on top of the list. There are also some reds that need to get evicted...

tags are for guys who are scared to break the law in just the littlest ways . I rarely tag my deer. usually i will fill it out or just cut out the dates and shove it in my pocket. Out of the seven i brought home I think I tagged one of them and it was zip tied around the front leg. Big deal chase me down and fine me if you must but they all get filled out and I dont think you have to keep the tag on them once they are at home. waaaaaa i dont see tags. you guys are wrong . wrong i say law breakers criminals. shut the f up cry baby's Give me a quarter and i will call your mommy. Christ I didn't know we had the judge on here. throw them in jail for Christ sake. No tags in this picture either
  11. So i found this under the skin on the thigh of a doe I hit the Sunday before that big ass fast lady sang about the close of deer season. The shot was not what I thought she was a bit closer and I hit her in the back took out her rear wheel drive.. the bullet absolutely destroyed the spine. Now I weighed this and it was exactly the same as a new one not a bit of difference. Now that's weight retention Its a Barnes MZ expander semi ogive spitzer style boat tail. I think without checking the B.C. is a 203 on this and the weight is 245 grains.

The first pic looks Photoshoped his left hand is not even holding the antler. With that mass it would be a little heavy for just the three fingers of his right hand. I vote phony Sent from my XT1028 using Tapatalk

  20. so the weather man says the winds are going to pick up to 30 mph in the Niagara frontier. I cleaned the smoke pole last night in anticipation for an afternoon sit. with the kind of wind they are calling for I think a slow stroll is in order. hope the boss lets me go early. Good luck today
