if i was going to hunt with idiots on state land , andI wont. i would wear some orange. but i hunt mostly private land so as i sat in my blind i could clearly see the guy walk onto my private land ...he was wearing orange so i yelled at him from my blind i dont think he saw me but he heard the shot i sent across his bow. boy did he understand the English that was on the sign he was standing next to. without respect for me i will not have any for you.next time poacher its going to be the sheriff that needs to sort it out.Things haven't changed just the times we live in so the guy was not in front of the gun but he got the full jist of the muzzle blast

the push is over now its time to let the deer relax and wait for the next time you go out . every day i hear less and less shots. Sunday i didn't here a shot until 8 o'clock then a few more around eleven and not again until the evening. i was near Attica.i hunted all day only to see a deer spot me coming up out of the creek... Busted... nothing in the field... but i had fun watching the red squirrel chase the greys and a black squirrel. I have never saw all three colors in one sitting ....... we are asking stupid people to make sensible choices... i have had slugs hit trees near where i was sitting i felt i need to fire at the running deer . who were running right at me, just to get them to change course.these guys were at least three hundred yards away. there shots were so far off the mark that when those deer were 100 yards from me slugs were hitting the tree tops or at least half way up. again stupid cant be fixed. that's just one incident... and so it goes on i go out every year in full camo... that way i can catch the poachers coming onto my moms land . last year i almost got into a fist fight with three guys who i caught within a hundred feet from the house driving deer out of the swamp... i had my coat off and threw down the gun they just cussed at me and claimed stupidity and now i was trespassing because the farmer behind my moms gave them permission and they were going to call the cops...got news for you boys dumb is not just fun its bliss too. no chance that the woods i have been hunting since i was a teenager,that i never talked to the landowner. i feel like i should have just put them all out of their misery. right then and there. this kinda shit really tunes my strings...

it started at 4:00 pm Thanksgiving day... Supper for me didn't happen until 9:00pm. first deer the smaller one was taken at about 120 yards. it was a great shot. the deer expired in five seconds. that right there was what its all about clean kill and smoke. I hurried as with beans still in the field i might see another one. quickly i retrieved the doe, and with her safely behind my ground blind i jumped back into the blind. fifteen minutes later three stepped out. It seemed to be a magnet because the first of the three that came out walked right over to where i shot the first. she covered the 80 yards rather quickly . well this is where the story comes to an end , she gave me the pose when she turned to look at thee other two deer in the back of the field. well she dropped on the spot. second shot second clean kill ... i shoot a triumph with 114 grains / by volume blackhorn I find the winchester primers I get less blowback and barnes 250 grain mz expander . Three 3 shot groups at 127 yards 2 an 1/4 inch groups

two doe on Thanksgiving day. First one stepped out at 120 yards it move in to 115 and thats when I squeezed the trigger. It never left the field. Hit middle shoulder came out the other shoulder and broke it. the deer was done in less than five seconds.So i quick got out of my ground blind and retrieved the deer .stuck it behind my blind and with 15 minutes before sunset another one stepped out at 200 yards within five minutes or so she walked right over to where the other deer dropped. so after practicing that shot i just did it again this one just dropped where she stood . my triumph is one hell of a gun thats the fourth deer between ioo and 120 yards. i carry it if I am going to be sitting i get such a kick about one shot one kill no mistakes I rarely miss. with little miss confidence.

it started fine but then. the wind started to blow the snow started to come down and sunday morning the guys that gut shot the four pointer tracked right across my moms land and her neighbor ... right where i was sitting in my tree stand they spent three hours looking for a deer that was doomed. cityidiots thats all they are, two acres and they run all over your land looking for wounded deer. I never saw the deer until it was too late for a shot.. ethical reasons i fealt bad for the deer. I dont understand the use of rifles in the woods and around houses again cityidiots. i had a moocher near a different piece i hunt saturday night . i yelled at him from my blind and lets just say I sent a warning shot across the bow... boy how fast the get the meaning of a posted sign he was standing next to...dont think he will be back..I do respect others boundries and have worked too long and hard on my spots to be walked all over by crappy hunters.year after year its the same old thing idiots with guns in the woods. .

why would any one spend $1000 om a mass produced Remington inline.Much better gun makers inline muzzle loaders.How much powder do you need for medium sized game anyway.

Ok i still get 25 pounds of bonless meat from each rear hind quarter. Thats off a two year old buck. Whats the deal with the bore butter is it wrong to use it? i store mine every year with that stuff in the barrel its always nasty when I pull out the gun and get it readdy to shoot Its kinda like I didnt do a good job cleaning it. replaced my rain gear this year. The carhart realtree camo rain bibs and jacket, they are a real nice combo. There is a head phone gromett in the jacket to run the wire to my phone or music player. I do like to listen to some blsck sabbath while i dream away the hours on stand.

I have two black and tan coonhounds and two hungarian vizslas. Its great fun to have your dog off leash in the field...Working with my coonhound bitch, teach her to be a deer search dog...It will be nice to have a fresh hide for her.
