  1. Please, no pics of the heaves. Have distance memories, LOL.
  2. I have a spot on the knoll that could be plowed right now. Soil temps at 47 degree. Use to be planted to potatoes until I give up giving them away. Like to get in some early oat. Make some great early grass for deer, and some nice seed for me. Think MN has other ideas today.
  3. If he goes after the livestock, by all means. A threat, not grounds.
  4. I'm more interested in the lamb. How's it cooking, LOL? What fuel are u using?
  5. That's fine. Anyone else that cares will figure it out, LOL.
  6. Not when dripping into pails. I believe, that is with tubing system. One could use tubing into garbage cans also, as long as the end of the tubing is above the sap.
  7. I have made spiles, in a pinch, out of 3/8" aluminum tubing being extremely careful driving into the tree. I've heard of people using CPVC also but, never tried. Fabricate some pail hooks. Will get u an extra day or 2. Maybe another gallon
  8. Yes but, u will have the added moisture from melt down, which we aren't receiving. It's already drier than usual here. Water table is down. The ground is still sucking up the water from last years drought.
  9. Last March, I trial frost seeded red clover, timothy, blue grass, and red top what had been into wheat the year before, about 1 acre. The grasses all came along but, with very little clover, so I cut what hay their was off last season and left it till this spring for plow down. Took a walk yesterday, and to my amazement, the piece is green with clover.
  10. Enjoy! Edit: Couldn't find any candles, LOL.
  11. Awesome pic. Do u have any other bird pics?
  12. Glad to have u back. Did u get a chance to visit the black market areas?
  13. Temps have reached the mid 40's for the last couple days. Snows gone under partly sunny skies.
  14. That photo would have went for 1000's if it was worded differently.
  15. It was on yesterday at noon. Bid was at $860 with 5 days to go. Mention of guns in the ad is against Ebay policy.
  16. Rain turned to wet snow around 7 last night. Few inches but, it's melting rapidly right now with temps raising and solar influence.
  17. Skinner, only because of taxidermist reasons. Otherwise, like Paula said only I use boiling water dipping as needed.
  18. Was looking into building a home brew cam, but looks like the quality is as nice with this one. The kit price for the home brew has shot up, then u have to buy the camera. This one looks as good, and no movement blur. Not sure the home brew can do that.
  19. Nice pics. Like the idea of showing the battery life left.
  20. We had this on the ground here, 2 years ago in February, definitely bear do do. And it was in the woods too, LOL.
