  1. Some nice Beagles you have there. Congrats on the success. I'm waiting for a little snow.
  2. Use the license money for hunting coarse instructors.
  3. Another idea is every person doesn't enter the world of deer hunting right away to harvest a deer. Some may take a few seasons before their ready to pull the trigger. Some may never. I can relate to that and totally respect that right. I knew a man in his seventies that deer hunted yearly, and had never pulled the trigger.
  4. The state needs to do something about training and a separate crossbow license first before I agree with crossbows allowed in all of bow. Get it out of the muzzleloader category. I've been watching dove hunting in Texas.
  5. We did this with a 20 acre field which hasn't been worked in two seasons now. Had to mow some willow off in spots which provided excellent shooting lanes. Natural clovers and vetch in mowed areas were a draw.
  6. What terms and conditions usually apply( in general) to hunting leases?
  7. I use a hack saw with a new blade every season. The handle on my meat saw give out like 18 years ago.
  8. With age, that changes some, LOL.
  9. Welcome to Niagara County. A real nice place to live.
  10. Congrats to Gencountyzeek and chefhunter86. Some great scores and nice deer. Thank you to all the people that donated prizes; WNYBuckHunter for taking your valuable time out to set up and run this contest. Great job! As far as I see it, your all winners that participated in some of the best deer hunting, this state has to offer. It went fast; I know I enjoyed it. Good luck in the upcoming youth only contest and to the hero shot winner to be announced.
  11. Look up New York Consolidated Laws-Agriculture & Markets, Article 26, Section 377.
  12. I wish I knew how you changed you birthday, I'd set mine back about 20 years or so, LOL.
  13. You Stihl need another saw! LOL.
  14. Now you have a "boss," wooly.
  15. Happy birthday Rob. Be nice to find those sheds today.
  16. Had to read the title twice, thought it said snowboarding, LOL.
  17. I bought a knife once that was suppose to be an American made product, took delivery only to find out the base was being manufactured in China, sent over to the states where a so called American blade was installed. Thus the reason for my first remark. I just don't like to see a cheap plastic handle on a American product. Like the look of it. Know the price would be more with better material and all. I may just try one of these though; jazz it up a bit. I'm a fan of brass bolsters and pins. I do like the idea of a New York based knife company manufacturing product in such a hostile state, given the knife laws and all here. The seller on Ebay has only two reviews since August 18 sign up. That worries me.
  18. Pressure treated built stands was our solution.
  19. Any youth that have entered the contest and have not submitted their photos, first and second place have yet to be filled.
