I have hunted state land where it clearly states dog most be on leash and the owners don't care let them loose even though they know there's hunting going on there, people are idiots.

It is really expensive to keep someone in jail so what he is saying is not even a practical idea . What are they going to do let out worse criminals for poachers.

Well maybe not to you but if someone is hunting state land and even private land and next to them is some clown with a feeder sucking up all the near by deer to stay on his property . Not to mention it spreads disease easier between animals when they are in close proximity to each other like that. I think you would have a different stance

It would be nice if they take that money and buy up land for hunting closer to places that people live by so some guys do not have to drive far away to find some land to hunt on .

I think it involves a stand or a blind in front of a big pile of something that drives the deer crazy to get at it . That natraully you would not find in the deers environment.

I think the difference is what the bait is if you are using something that is much more attractive to deer then what is naturally found in its natural environment it definitely is baiting and definitely not ethical for example using salt lick . But just Someone planting trees or plants that deer like is not baiting because those are things that are found natraully in the deers environment there's no such thing as a Salt Lick tree know what I'm saying.

This is something that probably most people will not like to here but if you outlaw the use of tree stand hunting and ground blinds you will eliminate most people from trying to bait deer . If you looking for " fair chase" If your looking for just meat different story .

Unless you smell like garbage dump . Do what you do normally to your cloths it' not going to make difference probably. Do x y and z to your stuff not going to make it sent free nothing Is really sent free .

Who else feels on safe hunting in thick fog like this when you know there are other hunters around you and you don't know exactly where there at ? I think I'm going to get a coffee and hope this fog lifts when I go back in

Well near me don't think I heard of anyone taking a deer more then 180 or 200 ib And that possibly exaggerate did not see the weighing personally or even a picture

So what is the record weight for a deer in New York State anyone know ?

Well took the close spot saw some fresh tracks in the mud but that is about it . Heard 3, 1 after the other gun shots in the valley this morning there . I think the guy missed sounded like . Will see what happens tomorrow
