Depending on genes of deer sometimes they stop growing completely. Every year I have a couple scrub bucks that stop growing and do not put on any size when you think they have a month left or so.......

When I am ranking the deer of the pictures I get I never seem to get the number 1 hit list buck but usually get the number 2. Number 1 usually seems to disappear every year early or before the season. Always wonder if he gets poached..........

Im from michigan and it is all coney but totally think they are overated....... I wont eat them.. But everybody has there own choice. i know a guy that thinks muskrat is better than peter lugers. i think that is a money thing and has never been to peter lugers or any steak house for that matter..................

My buddy from syracuse was raving about those dustin hoffmans for years and brought me home some. Sorry, took one bite and they went in garbage. Much rather have a NYC dog or CT dog. Tasteless

Anything is possible i Guess but a buddy of mine visited a big deer farm out in mid west somewhere years ago and they took them on a tour showing everyone what they were pumping into these bucks seeing what works best to build racks. I do not know if it has been mentioned here on other forums but alot of bucks in past years that were in nys big buck club have now been busted for saying they were free roaming deer and actually were shot in high fence preserves. It is a shame for the actual giant bucks that were shot legally but has everyone guessing. Kind of like baseball and steroids..........

In my opinion that is to big. It is like some dude on steroids. You know and everybody else knows he is stacking everything known to mankind so he just is not that impressive.........

It is also really thick down in long island especially montauk and hamptons. Some of those giant bucks will bed down in that stuff and you will never get to them........

A guy I know did it years ago cause he physically could not pull bow back cause of bad shoulder. With in 2 months of shooting every day he was just as good lefty as he was righty........

Unless you have a thousand acres the most important thing is neighbors...... You could have the greatest piece of land but what is the point when you have dips--- poachers on each side of you shoooting every 1.5 year old buck they see. I have 20 acre piece property's that were great really thick that the big bucks loved and I had 200 acre property's that were just rolling timber no bedding areas that were not great....

Back in My day the hunting opener was on Mon and there was no special youth season. Sorry even, outdoors-mans kids are spoiled. There was nothing like the mon opener........ JOKE

I actually hide my deer under moving blankets in the back of my pick up. I know I am a disgrace but my neighborhood is all antis and trust me you can not win with them lunitics..........

Y. ou never know. I saw a big 130 class 10 pointer chasing does 2 days before st pattys day last year. Second time I have seen that in my life. Plus last year alot of bucks where still holding in march in my area...........
