  1. Are you near the East Branch or West Branch Delaware River? My camp is on the East Branch. We might be neighbors.
  2. The guys in my camp in Delaware County all call them ramps.
  3. Simply Rugged Defcon 3 for a CZ PCR. Can be worn inside or out and is surprisingly comfortable either way. Also have a UBG OWB that I like quite well.
  4. While you're sneakin' a leak, take a peak.
  5. Saw them almost every night while caribou hunting in the Arctic Circle a few years back. The green and magenta. Very cool!
  6. You're entitled to your opinion, same as I'm entitled to mine. I stated mine, you stated yours. All good.
  7. I have zero use for Steve Rinella or his ego.
  8. In Africa, they have a saying, "Let sleeping lions lie."
  9. You should easily get that. I'd consider it myself if I didn't just recently blow my 99 budget on a 99F. They're great firearms and 300 Sav is a great round. Hope you don't regret the sale. Good luck.
  10. You selling for $550? Or bought for $550? Looks to be a 99EG.
  11. I'm just proficient enough to make noise on many different types of calls. It's mostly to give them to know that I'm in the woods and I mean business. If they go and get themselves killed, well then, that's their own fault.
  12. Never considered Dick's to be anything more than a low to middlin' junk store. The world would be a better place if they'd just shut the doors. Good riddance.
  13. These here is God's finest sculpturins' and there ain't no laws for the brave ones. And there ain't no asylums for the crazy ones. And there ain't no churches 'ceptin' for this right here. And there ain't no priests 'ceptin' for the birds.
  14. Nutrisystem something or other, again. Hey, at least it's working. Lost 24 lbs in 7 weeks.
  15. Yea, that would be very cool! Wouldn't know about the winter fishing. I've been tied up doing a master bath remodel for the last 2 months. After that, the next project will be to install a Rhodan trolling motor with GPS and virtual anchor on the boat. By then, I MIGHT be able to tell you how the spring fishing is going.
  16. I sure would if I could. I'd also be willing to send you some of that 107* stuff we get in July and August with 95% humidity. Ugh!
  17. It never really got here. Haven't even worn a sweatshirt all winter. Forecast is for 70's - 80's into next week.
  18. In my day, some used liver. OH....wait......never mind.....
  19. Others might claim to have the best jerky, and maybe they do. I make no such claims, but very few get a chance to see how good mine is. And when I'm jerkin' mine, nobody gets to watch. (I figured I'd keep the double entendre thing going)
  20. ^^^^^ I'm only going to be at 4,000 feet. It won't be an issue.
  21. Were they all day packs? And did they have the ability to haul meat? Or, were they full sized packs? If they were day packs with the ability to haul game, I would be very interested to read your critique of each bag.
  22. Is it the X2? That's the one I've been considering, volume wise. And I like it a lot. Looks to be made very well and gets very positive reviews.
  23. That looks like a great piece of gear for an eastern deer hunter, but I need something just a little bigger with the ability to haul meat. My first western hunt this year for pronghorns will most likely involve long day hikes on the prairie quite a distance from the truck. If successful, I'd like to be able to quarter or bone out the goat and haul it out without an extra trip to the truck for a hauling frame.
