I use fly magic floatation. Putting it just on the wing . Dry with an amadou patch .Then shake and bake in a decicant. Good to go until next fish.

I'm not far from Watkins glen . Use to love going to the track. Qualifying is the best . Then comes watching the chit show. Watched the races at home when it was all over . My step-dad was a local garage owner. We did comercial on the road tire service. Spent alot of time working on truck tires . Use to keep a service truck up their for all major events . Alot of money floating around up their .

The thing I liked the most about the orvis pro boots is the ankle support while climbing and descending rocks . Almost made me feel 20 again . My nephew even commented on how I almost ran up and down the banks . He was struggling to keep up so much he ordered a set . Not bad for a 54 year old verses 21.

I put the simms in after I found 3 orvis had chipped off after a couple of outings .

Two gobblers in the back of the hayfield acrossed the road . Watched them strut acrossed a planted cornfield . Gobbling there fool heads off . There has been a hen hanging in the brushlot under the power lines .

I had the korker interchangeable soles when they first came out . I could never keep the soles in the slot . Especially over broken ground and rocks . . I see they changed them now .

Felts suck . Freeze and you get balls of ice making it hard to walk in snow . Slicker than snot on a doorknob in mud . Besides you can spread mud snails and rocks not easier with felts Get a good lugged boot and screw carbides into them .

Arkansas fowl mouth pit viper... very dangerous kills all known corrupt associates.

Love to spot and stalk big browns . Almost as much fun as deer . To be consistent on big browns you have to be on your game . Screw the pooch one time your pretty much done on that fish for a few days .

Wish I could plant my garden. Always first full week in June. Here in Northern Chemung county 2 years ago I lost half my garden to frost second week in June. To plant early is just flirting with disaster here. Nothing worse than scrambling to find plants after memorial day .

I have shot them. Very accurate revolver. Fondled a 4 barrel set in 357 mag. If it was 44 or 41 it probably would have gone home with me . $ 2500 plus shipping to get it back from Missouri dampened my mood further. Thinking about it now I'm glad I didn't buy it as I probably would have only used the longest barrel for hunting. The rest would have sat in the safe .

Had the same boat ran it with a 50 hp Johnson utility. Perfect boat for the fingerlakes... to small for lake ontario. 2 pucker factor trips on the big o . Always said I would get a 20 foot boat with 100 hp motor before I would play on the O again . Seneca lake could be pretty rough but I never got caught in 6 foot plus waves . Always had enough warning to get off the lake .
