I do know that the DEC frowns on this, and I think you could get arrested if caught carrying a side arm during bow or muzzleloader seasons. mxsmitz201
wow some of you guys pack like your gonna be out there for a week. of course i dont have the opportunity to hunt land that isnt a 5 min walk to the truck or back to the house lol i have a fanny pack but i wear it backwards so its in front of me so i can access everything. aka my cell phone, and occasionally the grunt tube wallet (tags) knife gutting gloves small bottle of scent killer grunt tube rattle bag camo face mask (cool weather one but still only wear it when its cold, i overheat easy) cell phone binos scent wicks (whatever i harvest i want to swab the mouths and other areas to use in future hunts) flashlight with all that my pack feels pretty darn empty, list looks long but its really not all that much. i think im going to start packing some sammies n snacks though, would really like to sit longer but my aching butt and growling stomach always get the best of me. usually sit for only 3 to 3.5 hrs Edited October 3, 2012 by mxsmitz201

oneidacountyhunter
.357 is always on the hip during gun season! Regular stuff in the pack. Flag tape, water, calls, drag rope, binos, rangefinder, hot packs. Flashlight on my hat and tags in my wallet, release on my wrist.
