still up!! no sleep with game around! no matter what kind lol no falling alseep in the stand.. 6:32 heard trap go off 6:35 went out he was laying there.. went to cover with container ran back under stove.. still have two traps set.. hopefully he didnt run into wall and die. hope he comes for more food... had to tape the traps to the tiles he just kept taking them.. will post... hes a monster! dealing with pro rats here

Good luck...so I go to get in the Van...rarely drive...and mouse droppings on the seat...WTH....I go buy some poison...Mr.B and I have a discussion about this....I'm hoping he's not right...but had the heater on yesterday and it was OK...any how the mouse poison was gone in 4 hours...REALLY...The only thing kept in the van it bottled water....Stupid mice...I'm glad winters coming...they should dry up by spring ...can't find where their hiding ...took back seat out and flipped it....only hope is the engine..please...please....lol

I have one that has out smarted me to no end. He comes in through one side of the apartment and leaves through the other. I've laid out glue traps on both sides. 4 each side. I also laid out those snap traps and I bought those noise devices you plug into an outlet. This guys goes through all of that without a problem. Literally set 4 glue traps blocking his hole and he somehow jumps through them.

With smarts like that, who needs a college education. That mouse deserves to live! You can always do a sting and use 1 pump.

You need to watch Mouse hunt or Trap...can't remember which but funny as all get out...may give ya some ideas....lol

loved that movie when i was younger.. thats exactly whats going on here.. no bathtub in the pond yet though lol

Saw the titled of this thread and I was pleased to see it wasn't about deer.

I guy showed me how to improve the mouse/rat trap( the snapper style) by putting a couple of brads through the end of the trap, sharp side up. This way when the wire bar snaps down on the rodents neck, it impales him on the brads, and he isn't going anywhere.

Love the brad nail idea. I had some giving me a hard time would put the bait on the trap and it would be gone with no mouse in the trap. I use those traps that look like cheese. So now I take a raisin and stuff it in the little triangle thing then put peanut butter on the raisin and I get them every time. Never find a trap gone either.

Get one of those "save em traps"...wifey made me buy one last year. I put it in the garage with some PB in it...not a minute later the mouse was caught! Then I had to go fill up a bucket of water to drown it. Wifey comes out and asks what i am doing...said killing the mouse...Wifey.."but that is why I bought those "save em" traps". Me..."what ever!" Mind you I hat mice...If i could legally shoot them with a shotgun, I would!

Put peanut butter on a mouse trap . If he get the PB and doesn't spring the trap , his tongue will no doubt stick to the roof of his mouth and he will die of starvation ..........

tell that to him lol.. he ate a full pb&js worth of pb and still came back for the chocolate lmfao

Hehehehehe...Brings back memories..A few years ago when my wife and I separated, I lived in an older mobile home in the woods for a year or so..

I set mouse traps and kept a talley of my catch on a sheet of paper taped to my refrigerator.

When I moved out, my score was up to 46.
