Full Moon

I was going to hunt tomorrow, but I see it's a full moon, and clear sky. Would you think the deer are nocturnal now ?

Any day in the woods beats a day elsewhere in my eyes. Can't get one unless you are out there. Never know when one will slip up and give you a crack at it

Dont buy the crap just hunt. What else will you do tommorow clean the garage? Even a deer that ate all night gets thirsty, or bumped by another hunter, or decides to get up and make thier way towards food in the afternoon.

I always typically see less deer during a full moon. That being said my camera activity seems to correspond with the theory that during full moon phases they do move during the middle of the day...maybe to stretch their legs a bit, who knows really? I would say go in at 9:30-10 sit to 1:30-2.

all that moon stuff is BS it makes hunters hunt only certain times..... it MIGHT make the deer move more or less but i dont beleve in basing my entire hunt on the moon, im sure you will shoot a ton more deer on full moon if ur out hunting than cleaning the garage.... lol

actually I have found this year that the movement calendars have been dead on. There is a lot to be said about the power of the moon. Get the calendar and try check it out.

I watch those solunar predictions and generally find them to be a load of horse pucky. I have one on my phone called "Time2Hunt", and the only thing I use it for is sunrise/sunset times locally.

You wont see anything if you arent out there.

Judging from the activity this morning, I think the deer on my hill forgot to look at their calender. lol!
