burmjohn
XMAS gift idea for old man's cabin? Any idea's? Last year I got this really nice metal deer thing for the wall. This year I'm at a loss for what to get.
Doewhacker
How about a fresh gut pile, those are always in fashion. hehe Anything for processing a kill needed up there?
burmjohn
He doesn't deer hunt, so getting him something like that would be like a gift for me Last year I bought a whole knife kit for my brother, so we are set for cutting. I would like to get something to hang the deer from the ceiling in the garage (we put in a stainless steel sink w/attached table for just this purpose). Anywho, he isn't much of a hunter, but loves the outdoors. He likes doing yard stuff and playing with the tractor. His next goal is to start to dig a pond. burmjohn
I think I might get a custom made sign for outdoors to put on a tree when you pull in. I named the cabin / land as "Venison Estates" What do you think?

Doewhacker
Theres a few good ideas right there, I want a sign for when we are camping to hang out on the front. Going off of Early's idea, you could go on line and have a calendar made with pics of family and the lil one with what ever you want to say. My wife gets those for me for work and I love it. ELMER J. FUDD
Call the feds and tell them the truth about jimmy hoffa being buried right where he wants the pond. You can thank me for my bright idea by letting my kids fish in the pond. ... Or just get a chainsaw bear.

ants
Those reproduction ammo/gun posters are pretty cool. Like the old Winchester, Remington, Peters signs that use to hang in stores back in the day. I bought a few some years back. On advertised for the Remington model 8 rifle one for Peters birdshot and one was for Winchester Silver tip ammo. After I had them framed they looked damn good. I ended up giving them to my brother, to hang in his camp after my wife "redecorated". I kinda want them back!! LOL
