sits in trees
When he started out with his war against lawfull gun owners thing right after Sandy Hook he stated that he would even consider CONFISCATION. But went with Registration for now. Doesnt this really have some scary overtones to it. I really think alot of law abiding gun owners wont register just because of the comments made by our Fuhrer..
airedale
ALBANY, N.Y. — New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo's popularity has plummeted among Republicans, Democrats and independents after he pushed tougher gun control measures into law after the Connecticut school massacre. The Quinnipiac (KWIHN'-uh-pee-ak) University poll released Wednesday shows the Democrat dropped from his all-time high approval rating of 74 percent in December to 59 percent now. Quinnipiac's Maurice Carroll, however, says the results go beyond the gun law and shows concern about Cuomo's liberal turn this year. Cuomo blames the drop on the public's misunderstanding of the gun measures, which he rushed into law without public hearings or the required public review period. He says they won't infringe on gun owners' rights and will save lives. Quinnipiac questioned 1,127 voters from last Wednesday to Sunday. The poll has a margin of error of 2.9 percentage points. Mr VJP
If you weren't scared by Cuomo when he was running for office, you weren't paying attention.
ants
Under the King's new law, you can either sell your "assault weapon" ( as he decides to define it) out of state or your family must surrender it to the state after you die......But thats not back door confiscation..Right? Doc
I'll tell you what is scarey is this guy's skillful use of every underhanded way of operating. This slimey way that snuck this gun law through and then the "window-dressing" meetings he is orchestrating around the state that nobody knows about until it is impractical for gun enthusiasts to attend. It's all show-boating to show how diligent he is about making sure everybody understood the law. Or another way to look at it is that he is having fun showing the gun advocates how it is going to be for them in his state. He does seem to be a master of political dirty tricks the only difference is that his dirty tricks are not just aimed at opponents, but they are even more aimed at constituents as well. This guy is a real slime-bucket and even if I had nothing to do with guns, I would be scared to death of somebody that loves abusing his power as much as this creep does. His slippery tactics can be used on more than just gun owners. There is some signs that more people than just gun owners are starting to catch on to him.
ants
I saw part of his state of the state address. When he was talking about gun control he yelled that is was about getting assault rifles off the street. Then, in his bill ,he puts magazine restrictions on most common pistols. This guy is dirty. Add liar to the list. Edited February 1, 2013 by ants
