From the reaction by leftist governors, you can bet they will be looking to put as many obstacles and roadblocks in the way of people wanting a CCW.  Just look at what Washington DC did after the SCOTUS ruled their handgun laws were unconstitutional.

If you think any anti-gun Democrat lawmaker is going to abide by this SCOTUS ruling, you have not been paying attention to their history of unconstitutional lawmaking and their disdain for the SCOTUS in general.

They are currently looking into every underhanded thing they can install to make it as difficult as possible for anyone to get a CCW, from huge fees, to training and storage requirements.  They will find a way to deny most applicants and any legal challenge will take at least 30 years to go back to the SCOTUS for a decision.

Listening to Governor Hochul and NYC Mayor Adams have concluded they would deny every law abiding New York State citizen the right to carry a concealed weapon for protection.  Apparently they believe they are better than others and only the protection of their life matters.  And they call themselves "leaders"?  What a joke.

In other news, Hochul and Adams support more useless gun control laws and no improved security and defensive measures at schools to protect our children.  Their display of absolute incompetence in doing their job to protect the most vulnerable members of society, our children, is both cowardly and beyond disgusting.

Yeah it's a tragedy some of these politicians in  office don't even know what's in the Constitution did you here  biden say there is a right to have an abortion in the Constitution the other day  he's another clown making up stuff as they go along .  The Constitution does not mention abortion . But definitely mentions  your right to bear arms shall not be infringed .

Mean while they go out of their way to let out all the criminals from the jails and defund the police so who's going to protect you if not yourself ?

“Gov. Kathy Hochul vowed to call state lawmakers back into session”?  Amazing how these gun control politicians have such energy and focus on immediately working on criminalizing law abiding gun owners, but consistently fail and avoid addressing the control and punishment of violent criminals who commit PEOPLE VIOLENCE.  Who are these gun control advocate politicians really working for?  Sounds like these gun control advocates “hate law abiding gun owners” and “love violent criminals”. 

The article states “We do not need people entering our subways, our restaurants, our movie theaters with concealed weapons,” she said.

Another example of how far out of touch with reality Hochul is as a politician.   Pistol permits mean NOTHING to criminals who commit PEOPLE VIOLENCE.  Criminals will carry their illegal guns anywhere they like including Hochuls GUN FREE ZONES.   So Hochul can make more useless laws and post lots of ignored signs, but it will not reduce PEOPLE VIOLENCE.

Meanwhile in Roch on an average night…. There is no law, get arrested get a ticket , then don’t show up as they don’t have the manpower to look for you . Illegal guns everywhere ,as the penalty is just not there, yet we law abiding people worry about having one to many rounds .

We are the low hanging fruit, they’ve given up on the criminals for the most part .

Holy Gunsmoke Nomad !  Both those lists are Jaw Dropping !  That guy Angulo in the Lyell Ave Arrest with all those Felony Arrests warrants issued on him for 5 different robberies since January of this year alone , I think that gives him the qualifications for running for Mayor Of Rochester !  Freakin insane that this scumbag was even walking the streets . Instead they will probably give him a participation trophy as an honorary citizen !

Now I hear , you’ll need live fire  training and an in person interview to get a permit . How you can do that as you need a permit to fire a pistol , will be interesting.

So more money and a lot more time to get your permit .

As I’ve said to anyone who mentioned getting one over the last few decades the time was then . It was never going to be made easier.
