blackradio
Yeah although I think they have an even newer model. Not sure. I like this one. Photos aren't as soon as iPhone but I have a nice camera and don't need frame quality pics from my phone anyway.

blackradio
Yeah, they are not great but I'll eat them. Kind of like tofu, no taste really. Just texture.
PREDATE
I agree that giant puffballs are among the most tasteless & textureless thing and I don't normally bother with them. However, I did see an interesting lasagna recipe utilizing puffballs in place of noodles. Once in a while I will snag a few gem-studded puffballs if I see them. They're only the size of golf balls, but I feel like they have a better taste.Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk

blackradio
Setting up stands yesterday turned into a great afternoon of chanterelle hunting, also found some more black truffles. I found a ton of yellow chantrelles, and I found these things that look like orange chanterelles. Anyone know what these are and if they are edible? There was a sea of them. That's the last 2 pics. Chanterelles are delicious, going to cook up a bunch more tonight.Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk

blackradio
So my girlfriend wanted to make a traditional Slovak meal for me (she is from there). It's basically saerkraut, mushrooms, and meat soup. I tell her I have a bunch of dried mushrooms and show her a jar of oyster and dryads saddle mushrooms for her to use. I come home and start eating the soup and I start seeing morels. She dumped most of my jar of morels in Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk

blackradio
Any pumped for morels? Seems they started earlier this year, I hear they've started to come up in a few areas in dutchess county. Will go take a peak in the next week or so.

Gobbler Chaser
Finding morels is a challenge around here. But summer shrooms were a bonanza last year. My wife got me into this crazyness. Nothing like it
