The ammo aisle was pretty well stocked , didn’t see any .243

I asked the counter guy and he said “ nope we don’t have any , we got three cases in yesterday and the Mennonites came in and bought all 3 cases “

I guess there isn’t a limit anymore ?

Maybe everyone is stocking up anticipating issues after Sep 1st ?

I can't even find 243 online. It's why I started buying reloading equipment.

The new gun law goes into effect , the guy at BPS said you will need background checks for ammo purchases as well as other idiotic laws 

I thought it was just concerning handguns but not according to him

I have piles of it and can buy more in Ohio if you need it. Hunting partner is an FFL, too, for shipping purposes.

I'll be driving from New York to Pennsylvania for all my ammo

Not just a background check to purchase ammo. Your info will go into a database maintained by NYS Police to track what you bought (caliber and # of rounds), where you bought it  and of course YOU.

New York and California have also requested credit card companies create a special code for firearms and all related purchases which will allow states to track purchases everyone should purchase out of state and pay cash if possible
