Huh- I'm a little embarrassed to just notice the spelling of the title... anyway, here's an old moose shed I picked up on Friday. Probably been laying there for 3-5 years. Porcupines, bears, and coyotes have all had a piece of it. Smells like a really old sneaker.

Man I hope they make their way down into Sullivan.  I can't recall exactly what the article was but there were some reports of movement across the delaware river near me. It could be complete BS, but hey there is hope!

Moose in Sullivan might be a stretch,But a fellow land owner in 3H still swears to me he saw a cow elk cross 97 near Cochecton several years ago.

The DEC is doing  a study to determine a more accurate population estimate for NY and then create a management plan... perhaps a limited season with small # of tags in the future?????
