250 grain shockwaves here too. Pushed out with 150 grains of 777. I know the extra 50 grains is wasted on a non complete burn but still shoot it . I've shot gun with 100 and 150 grains zeroed with 100 and noticed no difference. Of 7-8 deer I've shot, none have gone more than 40 yards. Carrying it instead of slug gun this season. I only shoot once and more comfortable with how dang accurate it is.Dang, now I can't wait til deer season

Ha-ha, it may be a complication of terminology, but my understanding is that bullet components are exempted from the background check requirements of the safe act. I realize that technically these bullets are completed products and not reloading components. But I believe that ammunition is (or should be) defined as projectile assemblies that include propellant and ignition systems as well as the projectile. But like I say, it may be one of those fine points of definition that isn't always what it seems.

Powerbelts are crap, sold by Snake Oilers to the hunting community by BPI (a company of fools dealing in trash wrapped in pretty packaging).  Wait I take that bake, their slings are okay.

I have yet to see a PB not fragment into tiny pieces of lead and copper, and I have never seen one exit, ever!  Zero weight retention.  I lost a nice deer to one, and will never shot them again.  The don't hold up to bone at all.  Try the Hornady SST or the TC Shockwaves, you will be amazed how devastating one of these rounds are.  If you can find the Federal Fusion ML bullets they are very reliable performers.
