burmjohn
Trying to think how this would work? Hunting licences are seasonal unless you are a life-timer. And it can't be just for the hunting class because they mention muzzleloader.
WNYBuckHunter
Dumb idea, or will they make us renew our DL every year at a cost?

WNYBuckHunter
You dont think they already can? Come on man, take the tin foil hat off. Your DL is already connected to your hunting license, and the rest can be cross referenced. LOL, conspiracies....

First-light
The program, known as the New York State Adventure License, would be optional and would only be open to those who purchase "lifetime" sporting licenses or passes, not those with day or annual permits. Sportsmen and women would be able to add an inscription noting their various permits on their driver license when they renew with the Department of Motor Vehicles. CuseHunter
Only way I'll approve is if he makes lifetime license rates affordable. I'm hoping since he is just so stupid and seems to not know anything except how to take away rights, that he will reduce to hunting price for lifetime to $150, and I buy it while I can. :wishfulthinking: Edited January 9, 2014 by Cusehunter

Last spring after the unSafe Act passed I decided instead of giving the $350 to NY I'd give it to the NRA for a Life membership for him instead. Since then we have been giving serious thought to relocating somewhere out of NY, so I'm hesitant to drop a bunch of money on a license he'll probably never use.
