Recommended Posts

Yep would figure my rem 700 varmint is part of the recall

Remington is mailing me a box and shipping invoice to send

It back.....I wonder what the turn around rate is.....the lady on the phone

Said it was a recall for a faulty trigger and action...which sucks

Just received a email from them saying it can take up to 6 months to get back my rifle. Nope I'll pass. I am just gonna order a timney trigger for 127$ and be happy. My gunsmith can have it installed in no time

Luckily both my 700's miss the recall. Good thing. These mass recalls can take for ever. I have two friends who sent back Springfield xD-S's (for recall work) back in Aug. & Sept & they still haven't gotten them back.

I sent mine in last week.  I called them to confirm the process.  I asked the lady what the estimate turn-around time would be.  She said that they are mindful of hunting season but military and law enforcement comes first so she can't guarantee me any thing.  Looks like I'll be bow hunting only or using the muzzleloader this year.
