Birthday lunch. In Ellicottville. EBC. This is the venison steak I've been eating since my first season of hunting about 8 months ago. Is this typically the way a steak is cut and looks?  Just curious.

From a crap butcher yes.... Like said before I treat like beef and bone out and cut whole mussel steaks much better

Think they took advantage of me for being a newb or should I look elsewhere this season?  I went there because they are close and had a hanging cooler since it was so warm this last season.
