freezing rain now...

Wet snow. this should be interesting and an hour ahead of schedual...Everyone be careful out there...

Wife and I went snowshoeing around 11am or so this morning and it just started to spit freezing rain......then it snowed for a bit.  We packed it in around 12:40 when it started to hurt our faces.

 

We made a couple quick stops and when we got home the dog insisted we go for a walk.  Reluctantly we headed out.  It was nasty!  Not much precipitation but what it was hurt like a SOB!

 

Now it is just snow and looks like it is out of the NE.

Snowing here forecast calling for 9-18" in this area.Gonna be heavy and wet this go round.

Started about an hour ago here, same forecast threw Monday night.

Went out this morning with the JD with the bucket and made more room to plow the next load.

Looks like LI will miss most of it, be safe!  We got lucky with some warm weather, 34-36 that helped melt some snow but not very much.  Mostly freezing rain for us from what I hear.

Crazy weather. It was 10℉ here today with a wind chill below 0 and freezing drizzle/ rain all day. What's up with that?
