philoshop
I mixed up some leftover french fries with a couple of eggs and a piece of venison sausage yesterday morning. There's not much else you can do with leftover french fries. Saturday dinner at my Grandmother's house was always a 'casserole' made from whatever was left over from the week's cooking, and it was always good. growalot
I pack Mr B's lunch every morning and that is where part of ours go...when I'm not being stuffed full of wonderful Greek food at work...I eat left overs for lunch... We don't always have many for when I cook it is either 2 chicken breast,2 loin chops...or 4 sausages...or 4 Chicken burgers I grind up and make....plus 1 green 1colored veggy and a potato...Any left over casseroles or sauces ,soups, stews are divided to lunch and then frozen for quick dinners...Never a waste for the dogs/chickens get what we find hidden in back of frig... 2012_taco
When I would come home for the weekend from college my Mom would say "good no more leftovers!" I don't know what she meant by that?

ants
The wife and I like left overs, we try to eat all of them but my kids won't touch them and sometimes I have to toss them. I can't stand throwing out food. I always think " how many people would have loved to eat this"
hunter49
My mother would eat them once after that they were gone. My youngest daughter & hubby won't eat any. My oldest daughter will eat them for a month, eek! (We joke if we find old things , give it to T.J. she'll eat it!) I will eat them many times over. I love left over potatoes of any kind. grampy
My wife and I eat a lot of leftovers too. Just hate to throw out good food. My two favorite leftovers are chili and goulash. They just get better each time they are warmed up!
