My daughter committed to St John's University today and I made my first payment toward the next 4 years ...oh my!

Congrats! Its a great school and only about 45 min from Manhattan by MTA (at least that's what it is from Queens College).

Well considering she was offered $28,000 in scholarships, it brings the net cost down to a SUNY school level as far as costs are concerned.

Congrats, good choice with St. John's. Back in the day I was torn between St. John's and NYU I chose the latter, City campus has some nice benefits :-)
